Does exactly what you bought it for

Easy assembly, fit well in my toilet and looks great with my choice in square or circle cover. Very functional and very quiet.

The actual cover is quite large but looks smart and is useful for covering up messy walls from where the duct/wiring is. Easy enough to install.It's quite quiet but this is more down to a less powerful fan and less airflow to similar fans

I installed the Xpelair C4HTSR 4-inch extractor fan in my bathroom, and it has been working perfectly. It’s quiet, even when running on the higher setting, and does a great job of clearing steam and moisture quickly. The humidity sensor is a great feature, as it automatically turns on when needed, which is really convenient.Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable timer makes it easy to customize how long it runs after the room is used. It also looks sleek and modern, blending in well with the bathroom decor.Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient fan that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Highly recommended!

Bought 2 of these to replace 30yr old humidity controlled fans that had discoloured. They are no quieter. The cover is a nightmare to remove requiring considerable force with a screwdriver. And the controls can only be accessed by removing it.But most disappointing is that it doesn’t turn itself off - runs for 12+ hours after use. So have a shower in the evening and it runs, noisily, all night even on a warm, dry summer’s day.This is on the highest humidity setting and the shortest timer setting so no further adjustments possible.One bathroom has an isolator switch- turning this off then immediately back on stops it so the humidity has obviously reduced to the level at which it should turn off. Unfortunately our en suite has no isolator switch….

What can I say? I thought that this was a good an well established make?Amazon won't refund until the fan is sent back to the 3rd party seller and they can give me their address etc. I insisted that they receive it back themselves for a refund, which amazon begrudgingly agreed to.Like an idiot, I ordered another from amazon which arrived today and it's a second hand dirty fan that I guess someone else has returned!!Amazon have agreed to give me a whole £10 compensation, which doesn't even begin to pay for a day off work and electrician to sort out the fiasco.So I now have two fans to take to the local post office to return them and wait for a refund.I guess I'm going to screwfix tomorrow for some proper customer service. Shame on you amazon.
