Sterile and sealed bottle. We had to excise an abscess at home and didn’t realize how massive it was until we cut it open. We knew the cavity was gonna need packing to heal properly. I placed the order around 8pm and it arrived the next morning! It is easy to use and is exactly the same as the prescription ribbon used in out patient settings. It extracted tissue residue without disrupting the healing process. They are one time/one patient use due to sterility concerns but we will definitely be ordering again for any future wound packing needs. *This is just a product review - not to promote at home procedures. Waste of money. Threw in garbage. Unable to return. It wasn’t as I expected. It was too thin to cover the wound it was bought for and seemed dry.
