Great belt for underneath your duty belt!
On duty I have a radio, glock 22, two more magazines, two handcuffs, pepper spray, asp baton, taser, work phone, and keys. Let's just say i was looking for ways to save weight that didn't effect the performance or safety. First thing was to move the taser to my thigh. Second was to get a new belt! My operator belt is very thick and sturdy, but it just weighed too much for what it did. The tdu is a thinner belt, yet it is still sturdy and it still stays snug. i do miss the velcro wrap back of the operator though, its just a better design, but the weight savings of this belt is amazing. As far as a belt around the mall etc on off duty this belt is ugly! It is super wide (which is good for holster support), and has the ugliest plastic buckle imaginable. I recommend for off duty carry the basketweave 1.5" 5.11 belt!

Comfortable, long lasting, highly durable
The only reason I have bought a second one of these belts is because I lost my first one after 4 years of daily use. Despite the constant wear and tear the belt looked hardly different from when I first opened its packaging 4 years ago (as of 2023). Wonderful, functional, inexpensive, bang-for-your-buck product. Only downside is it doesn't look good for business casual or anything more formal. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Great Belt, Superior Quality
Great Belt, Superior Quality and Perfect fit. Was a little worried the 1.75 inch width would be too wide for my pants and shorts. It's Not. It fits all my pants and shorts , from dress pants to casual jeans. The belt arrived (obviously, Brand New Condition) very stiff so it will require a 'breaking in' period. I'm about one month use now, and it's practically broken. That's how sturdy this belt will feel when you first get it. The buckle WILL 'stick out' a little when you wear it, until it's broken in. Color accuracy was 'spot on' to the photo. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends (that means, you too). I do wish it was 'reversible.' Meaning, a different color on one side. I guess I'll have to buy another belt. I didn't need to trim the belt and I'm very glad I didn't have to. The tip of the belt appears to be 'coated' (rather, kinda soaked) in a resin type substance. Meaning, about 1.5 inches of the tip is very hard and stiff. Therefore, I recommend you buy as close to the size you need so you don't need trimming. Good Luck !

Actually a very great belt!
The shipping on this belt was quick, but then again I had the Prime shipping so that may be a bit bias. The sizing chart was spot on, I bought a medium belt and it fits very well with just enough belt left to head through the first belt loop. (I am a 32 waist.) This belt is some what awkward around the buckle area. After pulling the belt tight, it raises the buckle up some what out words giving you a little forward bump on your gig line. Not sure how well it holds up with gear clipped onto it yet, I work for the next four days so I'll update after then. So far looks great and fits well.EDIT: This belt works amazingly well. It holds up all my gear properly and very tight to my waist. Works 10x better than the old leather belt I was using. I really put this belt to the test in the fall, when I got into my first foot pursuit. I thought my gear was going to be flapping all around smacking my legs as I ran but to my surprise my gear stayed tight against my body making it very easy to sprint. Even while taking down my guy the belt continued to hold up with all the thrashing around, no loosening or slipping. All in all I'm glad I switched to this belt when I did because my old leather belt would have surely failed me.

Great web belt
This belt isn't as tough or as strong as the 5.11 1 3/4-Inch Operator Belt (I've got one of those, too) but it's tougher and more slip resistant than any similarly priced web belt I've found. This is not one of those fashion belts that will roll and twist and slip when you need it to hold. The synthetic buckle may look simple but it does a great job of holding when combined with the thick web belt material. I found my first one at a local Gander Mountain, but Amazon has them even cheaper, so that's where I'm getting mine from now on. Great for hiking, climbing, or just wearing with chinos around town. Just make sure before you order it that the belt loops on your pants are wide enough (1-3/4") for this belt to fit. For narrower loops, 5.11 makes the same belt in a 1-1/2" size, too.

Order According to Blue Jean Size
These belts are very sturdy and durable, and I love the infinite adjustability. I own three of them now of various sizes. Order according to the waist size on your blue jeans. When I ordered the next size up I ended up with about 8" of excess belt. When I ordered according to blue jean size, the extra belt reduced to about 4", which is about right.

Would recommend
Bought to wear with a uniform for work. Also have the 1.5” version of this belt and this one is noticeably more sturdy which is a plus, especially if you’ll be using a holster with the belt. Decent price for what it is. Also like not having standard holes so dialing in the fit/sizing is nearly infinite.
