Best locks ever!! Smooth locking mechanism & fits easily in tight spaces.

Based on the review of this lock by LockPickingLawyer on YouTube, I figured I'd want a disk-detainer lock, because it requires specialized tools and more experience to pick. I wanted a lock that would be difficult to cut, and this one has a nice, thick shackle which is enclosed within the lock body. Also, the body is made of a combination of zinc and stainless steel. Aluminum locks are attacked by mercury and gallium. Zinc less so, and stainless steel is not. Zinc is attacked by strong acids, but we're starting to get into the weeds, I think. Because it's made of zinc and stainless steel, with a solid stainless-steel shackle, it should not rust. I suppose we'll see. If it turns out that it starts to corrode, I'll update my review. I got all my locks keyed alike, and they provided an ample number of keys. Very convenient. Just make sure you don't lose any of the keys. I can recommend this lock. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. **UPDATE 01/2024** I had some trouble removing this lock from my gate. It turns out that a small amount of water had gotten inside and settled around the shackle, and then frozen. I was able to turn the lock, but it was some trouble getting the shackle to release. I was able to eventually get it out by warming it a little with my hand. That was uncomfortable with how cold the lock was at the time. When the shackle came out, it had a small amount of ice encrusted around it. Maybe I'll try hitting it with a little WD-40 to keep the water away. I don't think it's enough to knock a star off, though.

Fits Mosecyo door knob covers perfectly & I like that I got 4 all keyed alike in a set. The lock went through one Chicago winter so far & still works like day one so no complaints this far.

Great locks. Look good, feel secure. Shackel is not captive (thank you!) Plenty of keys. 4 star because the first time these locks were delivered they were all keyed differently, so I had to return and trust that the replacement would correctly be keyed alike as I'd ordered. They got it right the second time!

These are great! They are secure and easy on/off. The best part of these locks is you get 3 keys with each one and you can request to order more than 1 lock and have all locks keyed for the same key. You have a bunch of extra keys as well, which is never a bad thing. I ordered 4 of these locks with same key, so ended up with 12 keys. Sure is nice having everything on one key. Just disappointed I didn’t order additional so they would have been the same as well. Definitely worth the buy!!!

I like the locks, so I contacted the company twice to ask if I can get more locks keyed the same for more containers. Never got a reply.

I selected these due to them being keyed alike and most importantly they are constructed with two drain holes to allow rain to drain. Locks used out in the weather can’t help but get wet and these continue to operate perfectly. I also like the fact that opening the lock releases the total shackle , the whole U-shaped portion parts from the body of the lock which I prefer. They are being used in each side of the ramp door of a car hauler and both having the same key is convenient. The keys are a bit unusual in design which I’m unsure is a deterrent or not but they are quick and sure to use with no fumbling to get them to release or to secure , yes the keys have to be used to secure them besides the normal releasing. Recommended

The item states "Keyed alike - all locks are opened with same key Four padlocks, twelve keys - same key opens all four locks" this is not true. I got a four pack and the keys are not interchangeable. Unfortunately, these were for a project and I had only recently checked them and can no longer send them back. I purposefully purchased these so I could use one key for all the locks as it was advertised in the description. They do seem to be sturdy and well made, however, the statement that the multipacks are keyed so one key can open them is not true. I am very disappointed by the fact that the keys are all different.
