Cuisinart DGB-700FH Replacement Filter Holder for Models DGB-700BC, DGB-900BC Only OEM

What is there to say about this filter holder? We purchased our amazing Cuisinart coffee maker with built-in burr grinder back in 2014 as a floor model from a BB&B in SW Florida. It moved with us multiple times, including across country, and we were putting up with a lot for it being a floor model - like a broken filter holder that didn't have the little doo-dad that allowed the slow drip. Well, after much procrastinating and using our budgeted cash to replace other things but not this, we FINALLY got tired of coffee grounds and figured it was cheaper to just replace some things on this oldie instead of trying to find something new. Eureka! This was exactly what was needed. Works fine, fit fine, came quickly... Just great.

Someone popped the tiny gasket out while cleaning and it went down the drain. The cuisinart website stated there were no replacement pieces as this coffee maker has been discontinued. My husband restores cars. He got a tiny gasket for me, a good fit, but not water tight. I wasn’t hopeful that this new filter basket would fit. I wasn’t so excited when it did! Nobody is allowed to clean that filter basket ever again!

Fits the coffee maker perfectly. A great deal to keep your machine working at a reasonable price.

Not much to say … this works just like the original. I really only needed the stopper-spring device that stops the flow of coffee when the pot isn’t underneath. Of course they don’t sell just that part. I was too lazy to make my own, which is probably not too hard for a handy person to do. Regardless, this works perfectly and I’m happy to report that my Grind N Brew has been making great coffee for more than ten years now!

This part breaks apart frequently and the rubber washer gets lost. We are on our 3rd unit. Ridiculous to have to buy this entire assembly for a 10-cent washer. Disappointed with the brand after all the trouble we've had with the expensive coffee brewer.

I don't know why this filter holder is so overpriced! The only part we need to replace is the rubber gasket where the spring/stopper is, but it is not sold separately from the holder. This arrived fast, but it is missing parts, there was no rubber gasket! Another is being sent in exchange which hopefully has all the parts.
