Great protection while using a spray gun. USeful in many other circumstances. Plastic / rubber seems of high quality. Goggle are clear. Respirator allows clean(ish) air with little smell of the outside world. Easy to adjust, and it seems to mate well..at least with my cranium and face.Would I trust this in a Level 1 bio hazard lab? No.Are they great for your projects around the home where you have to protect yourself? Absolutley!

I bought this respirator because it was time to replace a different brand that I bought a few years ago from HD, the big box store. I bought this respirator because it is well-priced, but more importantly it came with a set of safety goggles designed to fit the shape of the respirator, which is critical to avoid moisture from building up inside the goggles and obstructing your view. The respirator and safety goggles fit perfectly together, and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (after adjusting the straps to fit your face). In addition, the respirator comes with a total of 4 sets of particulate filters that fit over the poison filtration cartridge, which my previous respirator did not have. This respirator and safety goggle set is perfect in just about every way, and very affordable.

The Iffy impression first. Fit is a bit small for me. I’m 5 ft 10 in. This would be better for smaller adults or people shorter than me? I have used several of this type of mask before. A large 3M fits me the best, and is the most comfortable. This respirator measures only slightly smaller than the 3M, so I assume that with use it will be a better fit. It does feel more flexible. It needs a few days to off gas, like all new plastic. The elastic straps have limited usable stretch, and in my experience means they will not last too long. The Better impression: All pieces were included. The eye protector goggles can be used over my glasses, and the mask can be worn at the same time if the mask nose area slips under the bottom of the goggles. I consider the mask fit needs higher priority. I put the goggles on first. Your sequence may vary. I bought this to use with spray painting various projects outdoors where wind can redirect undesirable fumes on me. FYI: The filter cartridges do not list specific organic fumes that will be filtered. I recommend this for homeowner and hobby projects only, NOT for use in auto paint booths or similar risky environments.

I purchased this mask to provide protection when dealing with dust/soot/particulates from the fires that caused great damage in Altadena, California and Pacific Palisades, California. Fine dust/soot/particulates can find their way into structures where you do not expect it will be happening and I want to do everything to avoid inhaling any of these noxious particulates. This is a small price to pay to avoid damage to your eyes and lungs that may prove to be long term and not amenable to therapeutic intervention. I have to move boxes that may have been exposed to smoke/soot/particulates that have drifted for miles. I do not want to take chances.

This is a perfect and inexpensive respirator. I build scale models and the paints and lacquers I use can be downright nasty. With this respirator I can’t smell a thing while doing my work. I highly recommend it!
