Teen Wolf Season 5 Part 1

Okay, when I started watching this show I thought I would hate it. A show about a teenage werewolf, no thanks. But after watching the very first episode I found myself wanting to watch more and more. The young actors in this show are awesome and definitely not bad to look at. And the plot for each season is intriguing. Season five gets even better with the intro of theo, played by cody christian, who also happens to be the voice actor for cloud in final fantasy 7 remake. How cool is that! Definitely would suggest everyone give this show a try.

I have always given Teen Wolf 5 stars, but this season I dropped a star. Compared to Seasons 1-4, This Season 5 is the Weakest of the Seasons. I love the show, Teen Wolf. It's probably the best thing MTV has done, particularly with seasons 1-4. However, season 5 introduced way too many new characters without any explanation as to what happened to all the old characters from previous seasons. Season 5 just doesn't seem to be a continuation of the other seasons or reflects on the other seasons. It is an independent season with very little character development. We learn nothing new about these characters, but instead it's a season about these strange powerful doctors that are from a book and shows up often in dream-like states and controls other new characters who serve as a threat to the Teen Wolf gang. However, most of the gang is gone. It is as if MTV cut its budget on this season and decided to cut all the other actors who made the Teen Wolf gang interesting. The gang has gotten much smaller in this season and unlike the other seasons where I couldn't wait to see the next episode to find out more about what was going to happen to the characters, this season, I had no motivation to chase the next episode because I did not care about the characters in this season the way I did in all the other seasons. Also, all the other seasons had a bit of a sexual flair to them, this one had none. As if some religious executive decided to keep this season completely clean with no sexual innuendo or social commentary. This season was completely about teen wolf vs. another powerful group, and demonstrating their powers. Screen writers must have changed for this season or something caused them to lose the excitement found in the other seasons. If they continue this way in the next season, they would lose another star. It would be great if they can bring back the old gang and further develop their characters.

Ive seen the vampire diaries, the originals, supernatural, grimm, and more and out of all of them teen wolf is my favorite!!!I absolutely love all the characters and for me that saying a lot. I also love how it has two male leads, Scott macaw, and Styles Stalinski. Scott is the main main character but I love styles and they are probably the people that get the most attention! the only thing that would make it better is if they made a season 7 where styles and mira broke up but still stayed friends and Lydia wont admit it but has feelings for styles and they secretly get together... but only once to make it more....... whats the word....interesting..romantic...scandalous!!!!!!!!!!!! but im afraid I don't know if theyre making a season 7!!! :( ): I definitely recommend this series because it has amazing characters that are all unique but I have to warn you it does look a bit fake at first but it gets better and better I promise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Btw I am not james I am just using his account ( with his permission ) to write this review.

The plot isn't any different from your usual American series of the same genre. Nothing especially unique about this show except the underwear models that they hire as actors; their actors make the ones hired at the CW network look like third-rate models. The actors and actresses are very attractive people and one of the main reasons I watch this show. Some of the acting is pretty bad (Tyler Posey's acting is meh) but then there is also some decent acting in there too (the girl who plays Malia comes to mind as I feel she really captures her character's concept).To sum it up;Good things about this show:- Suspense; they know how to create suspense and not the annoying kind that leaves you screaming "JUST TELL US ALREADY".- Plot flow; even though it's not anything unique, they didn't botch the execution of the plot.- Attractive cast; who doesn't like a physically attractive cast? Even the older people are attractive (Peter Hale)- Supernatural; it's a show with lots of supernatural elements. Need I say more?- Some decent actingBad things:- Some bad acting when compared to other popular shows of its genre- Emotional scenes; maybe I am just desensitized, but I couldn't really feel the impact I should have felt during the emotional scenes.- Typical American story and character development for its genre; I guess you could say this is a neutral thing.- I didn't really feel the chemistry between the main couple; I felt the banshee had better chemistry with her man. I realize this isn't a soap or romantic genre, but if you're going to have a main couple, make it one with chemistry you can really see and feel.Overall, I do recommend this show if not for the plot then for the attractive people they employ. It's easier to overlook many of the bad things when the actors/actresses are attractive.

This first part of season 5 may only have 11 episode, but in those 11 episode Scott's world falls apart. The dread doctors remind me of the clock work guy from Hell Boy. God I wish I could remember that characters name. I do like the fact that they introduced the chimeras this season. that was an interesting plot twist, as well as the fact that the pack was brought down by a guy that they haven't seen since the 4th grade.

This season felt so different, quite a bit darker than earlier seasons. I wasn't sure what it was about it until I realised it was The Dread Doctor's creeping me out. Im not sure if it's the way they move or the noise they make but they're some of the creepiest villains yet.There are some amazing scenes and some horrifying new creatures going after the pack, leading to a particularly bad run in for Stiles which could ultimately change the dynamic forever...Another great season you won't want to miss!

This really is my favourite TV show ever, this plays perfectly on my TV DVD player and now I have finished watching this and all the other seasons before that I have to wait patiently for season 5 part 2 :)

Love teen wolf and this series is again fantastic. Just a shame that it is not available as a UK release and needs to be importedBut is a region 2 compatible version and works perfectly

Can't wait for part to to be released and over the moon it played on my DVD players

Great news that this season has been released on region 2 for the UK my daughter was so disappointed that the series had got canceled , now she's happy as she can watch it again , fabulous
