Seems effective and LEDs are bright
We were having an issue with deer eating our fruit trees and wanted to try anything. These look a little hokey, but seem to work. I put one on each of the 4 sides around our garden and honestly it seems like the deer stopped coming by (nothing on the trail cam). There's a button to turn it on/off but if you're putting these out in the day time, the button does not tell you if they're off/on. Pro-tip: test if they are working by covering the solar panel on top. These are automatic and turn on once it's dusk/dark and off in the daylight to conserve battery life.

No more deer visits!
Deer were almost a nightly visit until these were deployed. Haven't seen a deer since!

Don’t waste your money.
Bought these to try to deter skunks in my yard. Didn’t work. Skunks were completely unfazed by the flashing red lights. Will be returning.

Service is great but product not so good
Received a two pack of this product for racoon problems at my bird feeder. One of the units did not work and company was contacted. They responded very quickly and agreed to send me a replacement. I placed the working unit on the wood post of my bird feeder for three nights. My trail cam show that the racoons were climbing the post around and over the flashing lights. Maybe it works for other animals. I'll be returning these units and canceling the replacement unit. The four stair rating was for service and not the product. The service was great but the product just didn't work for me.

Very bright and easily charged in the sun
I purchased these to deter coyotes. I have a previously feral cat who loves to go outside and I want to do everything possible to make the outdoors safer for him. Another neighbor has these lights and swears by them. I have both of these in my backyard although I may move one to the front. Honestly, these things are so bright and attention getting you don't need more than one in a small backyard. They work really well--- they're bright! It makes sense that animals would be afraid of them. They do appear quite menacing. I love having one by our back door at night. They would definitely be seen by intruders who might think twice before approaching.Best thing by far is once you put them out in the yard, you can forget about them. They charge easily by themselves during the day and turn on as soon as the sun goes down. I haven't noticed them turning off anytime I've checked during the night, so they appear to hold their charge and flash until morning.

Doesn't scare animals
Bright LED's, seems to work good. So far has held up. But it doesn't scare the racoons away. Not sure about the coyotes, they are very intermittent. I have two of these at differing heights in the areas where the racoons are bothering my yard regularly and they dont give a crud about them.

Reduced deer activity
They do seem to work so far. Our plants and shrubs usually get grazed to the ground aspire other abundant food. We have strategically placed these around the yard and we are seeing less damage.

Would not buy again
Purchased the product to keep deer away from our birdfeeder. Might be working in the evening when it is dark. There is no motion sensor. It is constantly flashing when it gets dark and off during the daylight. However, there are two issues that would make me hesitant to recommend it. The deer seem to feed at first light and the flashing Predator Control Light is not deterring them. Either the deer do not detect the light or it shuts down. The second issue is solar battery life. Worked for a few days, along with some sunny days, then we had some overcast days and it did not work. I would not recommend the product. Very disappointed. We did some research and my next plan is to use 30# fishing line and string it to four, four-foot high stakes in a three-foot perimeter around the feeder. I did look at other alternatives, like motion detector lights and/or ultrasound, but very concerned about our dogs [sent an ultrasound unit back to Amazon] and their ears and also about scarring away the birds with light. I think they are all gimmicks anyway.
