The guard is perfect for what I needed it for. I actually ordered it for use on the door for my dog to be able to go in and out. My door could not have a pet door cut into it so this holds the door open just enough for him to open it with his nose & go outside when he wants. This way he doesn't have to come get someone in the family to go open the door. When he is ready to come inside he just pushes the door with his nose and the door swings open and then back with the a soft cushion to protect it from slamming. With the door just being slightly propped open it doesn't let all the air conditioning or heat out either.I wished I would have had these guards around when my kids were small to have protected their fingers from getting smashed in doors. This is a great invention!!

These break! We put them on the swinging kitchen door and they just bust in two when the door swings close on it. I even put two on there and it still happened. Worthless.

I'm quite disappointed in this product. These door guards have a very short life span. I was hopeful that these would hold up better, but in placing them either on the top or edge of a door, within a relatively short time the foam splits and falls apart. I can't rely on these to protect the little fingers in my family.

They are just cheap pieces of foam, but they do work to help keep toddlers from slamming doors.

i guess the saying goes "you get what you pay for", it's not as thick as the name brand one, but it gets the job done

I teach at an elementary school and actually purchased these for my classroom as well as for a couple other rooms here in the school. They work wonderfully.

I used these on an exterior door and they did not hold up. Great concept but not worth the money for us. It may work better for an interior door.
