They work great! The customer service at Arlo took a bit of work to lock in the deal I wanted but overall great buy! Have to charge them only 2x a year if only leave on during night hours with full color and night vision and motion detection, put on standby if not wanting to drain batteries, great product overall!

These cameras are fantastic. I purchased them a couple of years ago and then let them sit in the box until I just recently installed them. They both were still fully charged and worked great. I get to see all the wildlife that visit while I'm sleeping. They were easy to physically install. Hardest part was moving the ladder around. They connected right up thru the Arlo app. I've had them up for several months and haven't had a problem with either one of them. I'm considering purchasing a door bell camera and moving the front deck camera to the back yard. The video is very distinct and sharp. The size of the cameras are small yet the spot light works great. I haven't had to charge either one of them yet.

I purchased 2 cameras and a door bell on October 2022 and I am already having a lot of issues. By December one of the cameras was holding only 1 week tops of battery life while the other one was able to last one month. Then by January one camera stopped working, it wouldn’t charge more than 1%. I tried to reset it using the app and never worked. Adding to this inconvenience , trying to speak to tech support is almost impossible and when I was finally able to speak to someone, unfortunately I was not home to troubleshoot the camera. to add up to the pain, by the end of January, the other camera stopped working because it was too cold! Tech support told me that it was normal and I needed to bring it down and inside the house to warm it up for it to work! How is that normal, living in San Diego? I can only imagine how inefficient and useless those cameras would be in Minnesota or Chicago! Well, it’s been in the house for over a month and still says is too cold to work. Even worse, I chose the payment plan WITH INTEREST, and I am still paying for them and neither are working. The door bell has a defective microphone/speaker system or mechanism. Every time I try to speak thru it people can’t hear me and one time the call wouldn’t hang up and all of our conversation at home was listened thru the doorbell speaker on the street! No matter what I did I was not able to turn off the doorbell. Yes, the quality of video is great but the quality of the device is horrible. Also, one day I saw in the notification on my phone the video of someone trying to break into a car. I copied the link to send to my neighbor but the following morning the video was gone from my library and wasn’t able to find it or retrieve it. I yet have to speak to tech support and customer service to return these 3 items and get my money back with interest.

Super simple setup! It legit took me longer to look up my Wifi password than it did to get the first camera up and mounted. I am initially giving this only 4 out of 5 stars due to the battery drain. I have Wifi extenders arriving today and if they help the battery life, I will change this rating. Things we like so far: 1) Very easy to set up. All three cameras found my Wifi and we were instantly online 2) Simple to install the app on different devices. We loaded it onto our Android and Apple based phones as well as one tablet. All work GREAT! (one drawback, if you login, you bump off whoever else may have been logged in which actually makes sense) 3) Great picture quality and motion sensing. We have not yet modified the reporting area because the cameras are covering exactly what we want. 4) Auto spotlight feature at night is GREAT! I'm sure that scared away Mr. Raccoon this morning as he was investigating the pumpkin decorations on the front porch! Backyard is not quite as clear at night, but that is understandable since it's a much larger area--we could still clearly make out the critters that paid the yard a visit. 5) Ease of mind. Working from home due to Covid, my office is in my house where I can't always hear the doorbell/knock. This ensures I always know when people are at my door.

No me han resultado buenas estas cámaras. La batería no dura nada . Pague un seguro por un año o algo así para el mal funcionamiento y nunca me he podido comunicar con nadie . Solo me mandan a ayuda de soporte técnico . Quiero cambiarlas por otras que no tenga que estar cargando cada semana . O que me regresen mi dinero .

So easy to install and use but batterie live on my case one don’t last

Live view is laggy . No option for play back unless pay for monthly subscriptions

The camera only gives you notifications when motion is detected but you cannot access it except for the exact second you get the notification. A few seconds later and you cannot see a recording unless you buy a subscription!!!! DO NOT BUY

I am so impressed with this camera, the videos are so clear that if needed, Police could see people very clearly. There have been many breakins in my area and the distance that it picks up will help keep my neighbors safe too. Siren is loud so my neighbors can hear it and the spotlight gives enough light!
