A simple to use budget recorder with great results!
I really like this microphone. I use it for client voice-overs which is simpler than rigging a lavalier. Whether attached to your camera, on an overhead boom or on a stand for the desk, it captures great audio and is very simple to use. You have all the controls you need to effectively manipulate your volume/gain. The screen is quite informative and the controls are simple to use. It's battery operated and the life is good...but be sure to have extras on hand to avoid accidently running out during recording. Of course you can monitor via headphones for volume and quality of output. A very good budget microphone that you won't be disappointed with. I certainly wasn't!

Solid purchase
I bought the h1n recorder about 6 years ago for recording stereo raw recordings for live music. My puppy pitbull ate the screen cover on the original,. These things are simple replacement but I have no doubt that they will be completely effective

Good recorder.
I like this recorder a lot. The only issues I had was with the instructions. The instructions could be better. The recorder itself I wish I could rewind it back 10-15 seconds to listen back. If it does have that capability then I didn't see it in the instructions. The software that came with it was hard to understand and hard to find where you put the key code in to download the software on my laptop. Other than that the Zoom recorder works well.

Great recording 👏
I like it it improved my videos sound I think is better than a remote microphone, you do have to sync to you video but it is very easy if you record the sound on the camera. Just make some distinctive noise and synchronize on a editing program, I use luma fusion

Covers half the screen, gain control, mic and headphone jacks, and No Drawstring
Just to be clear, This is what it Really Looks Like (see photos). (see below for a fix). Somewhere under that fuzzy thing are the screen, gain control, and headphone and mic jacks, and this is with the elastic tucked back up. This makes using it awkward, as I have to pull it up out of the way to see the screen and use the gain control. Speaking of elastic, my version has elastic, NOT a drawstring with "Snap lock" in "Quality Leather" as shown in photos and even in a Product video. The foam cover fits well, as shown in their photo. The material is decent, but I don't know how I'm going to fix this; maybe turn it inside out and sew a tuck in the top so it's not as deep. I would get another brand, but I bought two brands and they both do this, though they are different materials. As long as their photos aren't accurate getting a different one is still a crap shoot. I get tired of researching products, and still having to fix them to make them work as shown in the photos or description I did end up turning it inside out and sewing a tuck in the top, about 3/8", which pulled the edges back from screen, though the elastic still needs to be tucked up inside to get it out of the way. Another idea might be to put a piece of foam, about 3/8-1/2" thick inside the top so it can't pull down as far.
