Active Wow Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder - Natural Whitening, Fluoride Free, Sulfate & Paraben Free, Spearmint Toothpaste Powder, 20g

I’ve been using charcoal tooth products for some time now, and have been learning what I prefer when it comes to them!Powders are messy. MESSY! You don’t have any idea how much of a mess brushing your teeth really makes until all of the tiny splatters are stark black droplets everywhere on your wall, mirror and vanity! (Seems like a good lesson for our current times...😳) Despite this mess, I definitely find a powder like this active wow powder a more effective product than any paste charcoal I’ve tried. This is a small tub of product, but it only takes a dab to get every tooth fresh, shiny and white! This Active Wow powder actually seems a richer, denser black than my previous charcoal tooth powder which, combined with the fact that the Active Wow also has coconut in the formula, definitely makes it a better choice than most of the other powders that I’ve tried! The mint flavor is also nice, if subtle. I haven’t had a flavored powder before and while I’ve never missed the flavor (I prefer to use a small dab of my usual flavored, fluoride paste under the charcoal powder) it does make it a more refreshing experience when I decide to forgo any paste.This is a soft, dense tooth powder that makes my teeth feel scrubbed and clean without any gritty sensation during or after brushing. Immediately after brushing, before rinsing, there’s a definite gray cast on my teeth. That’s good! Its color theory; the black cast/gray effect can very effectively neutralize yellow tones. I never have any lingering gray appearance after fully rinsing the powder from my mouth, but I have been asked if I’ve been whitening my teeth and it’s been a very long time since I’ve used any brightening or whitening products aside from charcoal powder!I definitely recommend this powder to anyone who would like to achieve a brighter smile, especially without subjecting their teeth and gums to harsh bleaching agents that can degrade tooth surfaces and cause pain to some. I don’t have sensitive teeth, but I do have a place where a bit of receded gum causes an uncomfortable “biting on foil” type of feeling when I use a standard paste; this powder doesn’t bother that area in the least!With a standard, thorough brush your teeth should gleam! Letting it sit a bit before fully rinsing intensifies that effect (in my experience!) and will leave your mouth feeling as clean as it looks. A good rinse after several minutes removes all traces of the powder from your teeth and mouth (make sure to take a look between teeth and gum line before starting your day, particles can sit there if you don’t rinse thoroughly!) then wipe your mouth, wipe your poor mirror 😆 and enjoy a brilliant, healthy smile!I was fortunate to receive a discount on this product, but a bad product at a good price still isn’t a good one and this charcoal tooth powder is wonderful! All opinions are my own and completely objective. I’m a big fan of charcoal tooth powders and this is definitely one of the better if not the best one that I’ve had an opportunity to use!

This product exceeded my expectations after only 1 use! I bought it to help remove staining on my 2 front teeth due to coffee and red wine. It was quite noticeable to me and rather unattractive, to say the least. I almost bought some bleach strips, because I didn't know there was any alternative really, but I hesitated because they make my teeth hurt SO bad and I wasn't quite ready to suck it up yet. But I saw the reviews on this and specifically that it won't make my teeth sensitive so I thought I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did. The product substantially removed the staining I was concerned about after my very first use! I could see the results immediately. It wasn't like my teeth were suddenly bright white and I wasn't expecting that from this product anyway, but the very specific and obvious surface stains were easily removed and the result is that my teeth look more even colored, brighter, naturally whiter and cleaner. There were still some stains left after the 1st use but I've found the product effectively removed them all after the 4th use. I have not found it to be difficult to use or rinse out. I do floss and brush with my regular toothbrush and paste after wards just to make sure I've removed it all. I use it twice a day and try to avoid scrubbing my gums with it because I'd rather not abrade them with something that so effectively removes 2 years of red wine stains on my teeth. However, I've not found the minimal abrasion on my gums to be irritating at this point. The mint flavoring is so minimal as to be nonexistent but there is no taste to the stuff at all so that's fine. I am extremely happy with my purchase and really glad this came up in my purchase suggestions because I'd have never known about it otherwise. I would highly recommend it for people concerned with removing stains and who wish to avoid the pain of bleaching. I would not recommend for a dramatic overall whitening as I don't believe you would achieve those results with this product.

I have tried a few charcoal toothpastes and really enjoyed them... so I came across this product. I thought it looked really unique and different because it was powder instead of toothpaste or mouthwash. Bought it on a whim to test it out and wanted to know how it compared to charcoal toothpastes and the instructions for use.I waited a while before I reviewed because I wanted to compare my teeth over a two week period... I noticed that gradually my teeth had an improved shine and got a bit whiter. As for the flavor of the toothpaste I couldn't really taste the spearmint. Maybe it was just very faint or I'm used to stronger toothpastes.Overall it is a nice product. I used every other day and had good results with it. Although I use an electric toothbrush for regular cleaning, I bought a regular cheap toothbrush to use this powder with and that seems to do the trick. Just don't be frightened by yourself in the mirror when you spread the wet powder on... black teeth... lol
