I bought it to use in my 4.8 Qt Viking stainless steel pan; It slides under meat and fond very easily.This left-handed sturdy spatula is very competent in my left hand, making stirring, mixing, and flipping various foods a breeze in this pan.The handle is perfectly sized to grip and hold well in my hand and very easy to clean.It’s definitely South Paw Friendly.

Now that I own this spatula, I realize that it's been sorely missing from my list of kitchen tools. It is amazing at getting under, lifting off, and turning over just about anything I'm cooking in my cast-iron skillet, such as steaks, pork-chops, fish, and even eggs. Others have said that it bends too easily or is loose between the metal and wood, but I so far have not had either of those problems in using it with fairly heavy pieces of meat. It also feels good in the hand and is a good size for my uses.As it's metal, I wouldn't recommend using it in a scratchable non-stick skillet, but otherwise, I highly recommend it.

The new left- handed fish turner or spatula is a well made tool and I particularly like how fine and thin the blade is for getting under fish or delicate foods. The apparent quality of the tool makes it well worth the price. It is a welcome addition to my kitchen tool collection.

Great product...it is used for more than lifting fish. The angle is perfect for lifting fried eggs from the pan and for other light-weight frying/poaching items.

It is left handed. Foods stay on this spatula. Easy, so easy to turn food. When frying fish, the oil isn’t scooped up and the fish stays whole.This fish spatula isn’t just for fish! Roll an omelette from one side to the other. Ground meat can easily be scooped to the last morsel.I rarely use my other spatulas, even Wolfgang puck!Yes yes, they have right handed ones too.I hope you enjoy yours when you get one or two.

Being left-handed I purchased the left-handed version. i like that aspect a lot. The rest of the review should apply equally to the right-handed version.The short version: I really like this thing and wish I'd known about it sooner.I have a set of all-clad, including the frying pans. Stainless pans aren't really considered exactly stick-proof, but using this flat and blade design has sure changed my mind a lot on that front. I have started routinely frying sunny-side up eggs in my stainless skillet and I am able to -always- get them out of the pan without sticking or breaking. I use very little oil; less than a tablespoon for two eggs in an 8 inch skillet. I'm impressed.
