These bamboo charcoal bags are working spectacularly well! We have many outdoor cats that hang out on our property, & they like to "mark" our doors & windows:( Unfortunately, this very pungent smell comes right through to the inside of the house, no matter how much I clean the outside. I placed these bags just inside the sliders/windows/glass block/doors ~ and within hours, smell was completely gone, & has not returned. (even though they continue to "mark" outside). ***Note*** I absolutely "activated/charged" these bags (let them sit outside in the sun for 3 hours) before initial use AS DIRECTED. A lot of people do not read/follow instructions, & will then report the product does not work - so don't skip this important step! We also have an indoor cat, & place 1 near the litter box. I smelled something musty/mildewy in my office 1 day...put a bag in that room...smell gone within hours. Totally pleased with this product!!! BTW - I initially purchased a 4pack of (200g) bags in another brand to try it...(seems like a zillion brands make these bags). As they worked so well, I wanted to order more. While I paid $22. for the first 4 (200g) bags, this 8 pack of (200g) bags was only $25. - a much better price, & the bags are virtually IDENTICAL - same dimensions, same grey "burlap" type fabric with a large rivet in 1 corner & ropes (in case you want to hang them). Also note the dimensions of the bags when buying; a lot of "8 packs" I looked at contained only 2 or 4 200g bags & the rest were 100g or 50g. Remember, each (200g) bag only covers 90 sqft ( sounds like a lot, but that's only a 9'x10' ish area:) I'm totally pleased with this product!!

Took the cigarette smoke out of car. Rechargeable. Easy to hide. Easy to use. Absorbant. Good price. Works to keep odors out.

Not real sure these things are doing the job or not. I have ALL eight bags in my family room (prob about 15x30) to try and take the soil/plant soil odor out of the room. Have three large shelving units that hold about 100 succulent plants. I'll give it another couple weeks to see how it's working...

Hard to tell how much if any dust they collected

Holy cow these work... I have MCS and I've tried everything. No one product usually works effectively on their own and usually different products do better with different chemicals and molecules. I use both a HEPA filter and an electrostatic filter for air quality, but that doesn't always help with smells. The Gonzo Odor Eliminating Rocks makes a dent with odors, and baking soda, and Odor Absorber Gels (but those always have more scents added to them).... but these made an immediate difference for the lingering laundry detergent fragrances that drive me nuts (I share a wall and pipes with the apartment complex laundry). Only just got them today (and charged them in the sun)... so far, a miracle. How many days they last... and how many more I need to maintain coverage, that is the question.

We were directly impacted by Hurricane Ian in SW Florida. My daughter had damage to her hime with her shed being blown apart. I went over to get all her seasonal decor which was sitting in smelly swamp water, brought it all home, aired it all out, bought new plastic bins and re-packed everything putting one packet in each bin. She put up her Christmas decor and when she opened the bins there was absolutely no nasty smell. Some of her decor held many memories so it was important to try and save these items. Highly recommend these bamboo/charcoal bags. They do work, better than I ever imagined!!!!

I bought these to use at my home, then my brother's home burned. We brought some smoke damaged items to my garage for a short time. I used these in the garage and never once smelled the fire/smoke smell. I told my friend to go see if there was a smell in the garage and they replied 'what smell?' So there you go. I would recommend these and would purchase again.

I can't write a review as to how well these things work since I have never been able to use them. I opened the bag when they arrived and pulled one pouch out to examine it. I put it back in excited to use it later that day, Within minutes, I had welts all over me itching like crazy. After a while I realized what was going on and tried to figure out what was different. Then I remembered the pouches. I picked them up again and the itching started all over again. A couple days later I washed my clothes, including the ones I was wearing when I held them. The itching started again! After my laundry was washed and dried, I changed my clothes only to start itching once again. I wish I could say differently. I am rarely allergic to anything. I wish this could have been a poor positive review. I was looking forward to these working.
