Bamboo is a sustainable resource, as it grows fast and doesn't need watering other than just rain fall. No pesticides or fertilizers are used in it's growth which can be 35" in a day. These boards are machined very well, sturdy with a smooth finish. Cutting boards need attention if you want them to last, and free from bacteria so I purchased special bamboo soap, oil and bees wax. (wasn't cheap) but well worth it.

Really like these cutting boards. I was looking for the healthiest, long lasting option I could find, like all of my kitchenware. These boards are much thicker than I was expecting, very well made. Exactly what I was hoping for and for a decent price. There is a pretty strong odor, which others have reported as well. That's the only reason I took a star off. It seems to have subsided after a few days. For the price, nothing I can't deal with for a short period of time.

Good set of organic boards in three useful sizes replacing plastic. Have cut a variety of foods on them with no apparent damage, warping, or staining to the surfaces. Am very satisfied with this purchase.

Very sturdy and nicely weighted so as not to slip around. They are easy to clean with soap and water and dry quickly.

Great set with perfect sizes of 3 different boards. Largest one is exactly what I was expecting and not disappointed. Eliminating as much plastic as possible and these are really nice. Great price, too!
