Rigid Wand with Otoscope - Option: 3 or 10 SoftSpray Tips

Worked extremely well and was very easy to use. Having the otoscope was great to be able to see that my ears were cleaned well. I definitely suggest using the ear drops the day before and day of cleaning to make it easier.

Problems with ear wax are not something I run up against often, but when I do, believe me, they can get bad. If I'm lucky, all that happens is my hearing is muffled and distorted with no other effects, and if I'm not, I get dizzy, my ears ache and itch, and I grow disoriented on top of that. In the past, I've had to arrange emergency doctor's appointments for ear cleansing. I don't have to anymore with this in my medicine cabinet. There are a number of things I like about it. First, I found assembly quite easy. It wasn't hard to figure out how parts fit together. I didn't really need to read the instructions too thoroughly first. It involved nothing terribly complicated and took only a few minutes. If you take my remarkable lack of patience for fiddling with components into account, that's saying something. Everything is made well, easy to put together, and simple to disassemble for cleaning and storage. Second, the ear drops that came with the kit are the only ones I have tried that really worked. I followed the directions for use after I checked out the company's website, and they worked exactly as indicated. I've used peroxide and other types of drops to no avail, so though I was skeptical of these, I tried them and was glad I did. Third and most importantly, the product itself did the job it promised to do. I was able to rid myself of all the wax build-up after using a little more than one full bottle of warm water. There was minimal discomfort involved with the process. I don't think it would have hurt at all if I hadn't procrastinated while waiting for the problem to sort itself out. Because of the way the kit was designed, I could carry out the task alone, without needing to ask anyone else to help me hold the catch basin or anything else. The company's website recommends using the kit with the rigid wand, which this one is, when working solo, and they were right. The procedure was relatively quick, the relief at being able to hear properly again immense. Originally, I bought this because I wanted to try a manual ear irrigation system before going for an electronic version. While I have nothing against the latter and would have tried one if this hadn't helped me, I can attest that this worked precisely as advertised, and I can highly recommend it.

Looks like 2 aa batteries should've been in the package, but there isn't any. You can easily slide the back to the package on and off. I'm baffled because the box it came in was sealed and seems it was never opened.

Left ear clogged up after the plane landed while I had a cold. I used Ear Wax MD drops by itself first, which seemed to soften it but was still stuck inside. So I ordered this. Used the drops again and this irrigation afterwards. After about 6-7 sprays, it finally came out (big chunk)! Ear is finally unclogged after 2+ weeks!

Very complete and quality Earwax Removal Kit. Comes with earwax softening drops, a well designed catch tray, and easily understandable instructions. The otoscope batteries were included and unopened, but mine arrived at 60% charge; this is common among "new" batteries. If you go to your local drug store and look at the dates of coin batteries on the rack; some have already expired; also unused batteries often expire years before the date printed on the battery. The first thing I do after buying new batteries is open all of them and test them on a pulse load battery tester. The 60% batteries for this product were not a big deal for me, because I prefer to use rechargeables that don't corrode over time, and I likely would not be using the included batteries anyway. This maker/product still deserves 5 stars, and I highly recommend.

Worked great on first try. Husband has been having issues with his ear for months. We went to the doctor have tried multiple drops but this did the job immediately.
