This is exactly what I needed to recharge my expensive dehumidifier.
This is amazing value and comes with a full kit for car and or home appliances. My very expensive dehumidifier was only just lower than room temp inside and this kit plus a Bullet Piercing Valve (BPV31D) sold on ammy too is all i, you, need for a home repair. I looked for an adaptor but could not find one but this fits the inlet valve of the BPV perfectly. As the year warms up and humidity will go high I now have a fully recharged and tip top condition dehumiddy. 60-65 psi is good but check your brand specs. I can also revitalise fridges and freezers at a fraction of the cost of Billy Bodger and his sharp intake of breath antics.BPV around 10 quid, recharge hose and kit 15 quid, can of gas about 5 quid ......£30 quid all in.How cool is that !

Won't work to just measure pressure
I bought this to simply measure the pressure of the refrigerant already in the system. I didn't know if I would need to add more refrigerant at this stage and so I didn't buy any. When I attached the pipe to the connector on the car, the refrigerant already in the car leaked out of the other end. It didn't matter whether the knob was screwed down or up. I would have thought that there should be a valve in the pipe or fitting to stop this happening. There is nothing in the listing to tell you this - it is just full of pages telling you how good the product is. And it doesn't come with any instructions. So if you just want to measure the pressure in the system then this product is no good.

Poor coupling
Whilst I like the versatility of the connection and length of the pipe, the actual piercing-coupler for the can is a bit rubbish. When I used it, for some reason, the seal was blocked with the tap fully open. I had to back off the whole upper tap assembly with a spanner to get it to let R134A out of its can into the pipe, which was pierced. I couldn't just remove the tap and clean it out without loosing all the freon in the can. When can was empty and I could remove the piecing-coupler, I couldn't see anything to explain the blockage. Maybe the rubber seal is too soft? No idea. But be aware of this when using.
