Product was well wrapped and secured. Easy to follow instructions and assembling took less than 30 minutes. Purchased product for home use. Requires no effort to adjust the desk to rise. I say this because my desk riser at work is a different model and requires alot of effort to lift. I'm always afraid I may pull my back. I recommend this product to anyone.

TRUE REVIEW: Uncompensated and actual user.Just assembled it and I am impressed!First the CONs: 1) There is an ever so slight give when I place my hands on the keyboard, but then it's barely noticeable. I would think all the other table risers have the same issue or I just have heavy hands; 2) The grease on the railings was not spread evenly leading to a less than smooth experience while raising/lowering the table. This was easily fixed with a toothpick (just smooth out the grease).Now the PROs: 1) $99.99! Compared to the competition, that is a very good value to price ratio!; 2) The metal, the wood, and the pneumatic appear to be of good quality. It was very clean, smooth, no dents, scratches or anything... and they feel sturdy; 3) At first I could not decide if I should get a bigger version (this is a 32"), afraid that I would run out of space... but this size was just right for me. I have a 15" laptop and a 27" monitor - both on it at the same time and still have some spare space for junk; 4) the keyboard tray is wide enough to hold my full-size wave keyboard (wider than normal), a trackball, and an 8" tablet; finally, 5) They didn't cut corners and included dampening pads (x3) to place under the keyboard tray so it does not "bang" your table when you lower the whole table/tray (e.g., when you want to work sitting). Other things they included were ties and sticker-backed hooks to help with cable management and tools to help with assembly.I'm almost suspicious of this product as it seems to be slightly too good to be true. I hope I feel the same way a couple of years from now. I will update this review if anything goes wrong.Please let me know if this review was helpful.BOTTOM LINE: Go Get it!

I bought this because I needed something that I could alternate between sitting and standing now that I am remote full time. It was the most reasonably priced desktop converter that I could find that would fit my laptop and a full size LCD on the top as well as a full size keyboard and mouse.It more than met my expectations. Instructions were easy to read and assembly took me twenty minutes.The top part is wide enough for my laptop to sit open and I was able to attach my monitor arm with no problems, though I could easily fit a 27" LCD without an arm too.It is wider from front to back than I expected the keyboard tray sits out all the time. This was fine for me at my desk is wide enough but be aware it is a full 25" from back to front. If you use an arm then you will need an extra inch to accommodate it without hitting the wall behind the desk.It is very easy to bring up and down - I am not very strong upper body wise but I have no problems raising and lowering this several times a day.The only downside so far it that the black shows up all dust and dog hair (particularly if you have a white dog) but that is to be expected!All in all a great value and works perfectly.

I am very happy with this product. I get a lot of compliments at work. The set up was easy. It slides very well, even with my stuff on it. It really does adjust to ANY height, within it's parameters. I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on this and I'm glad I did. It does take up a lot of room on the desk, so be prepared. The build quality is STURDY. It goes up and down multiple times a day to suit my mood.

I have a standing desk at my job. Although I am the only one that uses it, my employer would not allow me to bring it home to use at home. I work 4 out of 5 days at home. There has to be one of us in the office each shift. I was having some serious issues at home sitting too long. I have severe arthritis in my legs and hips.Although I am up and down constantly, this particular model is great, simply because how quickly and easily it goes up. If you are tall this one is definitely for you as it raises quite higher than the one I have at work. You can set it perfectly to your height whether you are 5' or 6'2". What I like, is that there is plenty of room for my laptop which I raise on a hat box and a 2nd monitor, as well as, paperwork that I may be working on. I also really love the slot for a tablet or cell phone. What a great addition that little thing is! There is plenty of room on the keyboard holder for the mouse too. The one that I have at work, it is difficult to use the mouse on the same ledge as the keyboard.I use this same table for sewing, so this is very easy to move my set up so I can use it for something else.I really like this one better than the extremely expensive one that I have at work. The price point on this one is beyond fantastic.A word to those wanting one of these, get it, but get a standing mat too. It really is necessary when you choose to stand long to have a mat.I will update this post if anything changes. I've been using it not quite a week.
