Excellent value.
I'm an HVAC tech and I'm training apprentices, so I wanted an affordable ratcheting crimping tool I could give someone with little experience and have them make a secure connection. After testing for myself and having an apprentice crimp a bunch of insulated connectors onto various size wires for a week, I can say this fits the bill. The crimp tension is adjustable, and I found I had to reduce this setting by 1 notch in order to use one hand and get a solid crimp on an insulated 18-22 gauge spade terminal on an 18-gauge wire.I'm also going to be assembling some wiring harnesses, so I wanted to be able to change out the jaws to crimp other types of connectors. This worked well for my first test harness. The carrying case is decent and keeps the crimping tool, the screwdriver, and the other jaws clean and secure. I already lost the wire strippers, but they were good for the 2 days I tried them.

Best Crimping Tool I Ever Owned.
The best crimping tool I ever owned. I am the type of person that would rather buy a tool to last a lifetime rather than some piece of junk that breaks after a couple of uses. I believe this crimper will last me for generations to come. I got tired of the cheap China crimpers sold ever where from Walmart ot Home Depot. The would last 1 or 2 projects and ALWAYS caused my hand to hurt for a couple of days after each project. Not with this tool! The ratcheting mechanism is fantastic allowing me to position the crimp in the tool and the wire within the crimp. Squeezing the crimp tool together takes about 1/2 the effort of the cheap China crimpers. The fact that I can change the crimp jaws and crimp tension is a big plus. I should never have to buy another crimp tool as long as I live and it should handle any crimp job I have, in the future.Includes a decent quality canvas covered carrying case to hold the tool, screw driver, and crimp jaws in one handy carrying case. I would definitely would buy again and recommend to friends.

Good enough
So I got this a while ago. The crimper works well, pretty sturdy, and the additional sets of bits for the crimper is a nice plus. Most likely I'll never use more than two out of the five types of bits that it comes with, but whatever. The wire stripper that it comes with isn't that good though. It seems that the stripper holes are, ever so slightly, bigger than the wire gage it is marked for. So for an 18 gage wire, I would need to use the 20 gage stripping hole instead of the one that is marked for 18 gage wires. Still worked though.

Good for the price
I'm not an electrical engineer, and I'm sure if I were one, then I'd be able to nitpick this product quite a bit. For a weekend warrior like me, who's working on his own cars, this crimper is pretty good. For fully insulated adhesive heat shrink push-on terminals, this tool's die does a good job of getting a solid crimp without damaging the insulation. For your normal uninsulated terminals that you'd use in a relay, the crimper does the main crimp and the strain relief crimp at the same time, and the ends curl around properly. I feel good about the quality of the crimps.I would ding one star because of how long it takes to change out the dies. It would be sweet if there was some kind of quick disconnect setup for that. However, I'd just add a star right back because this thing cost me $36.99 instead of $200+. I'd also ding a star for not being able to do mil-spec connectors, but then...it was $36.99.

Nice set
I’ve used a few times and seem to be a pretty good set. Feel pretty sturdy easy to use if you’ve ever used similar product before just put in right spot and squeeze. Good crimping and wire stripping, lots of extras. Ok price for what you get, for most people I’d say this would be the only set you’ll ever need.

OK for occasional use
The handles fall off when operating which can be addressed with an adhesive, but you pay for an item that should work without issues. Workmanship is OK for China made, not great and die selection and quality could be better. The open barrel crimp dies crimp the wire and insulation together and the dies don't fit the terminals as well as they should. The case is awkward in my opinion. For the DIYer that needs to crimp something once in a while it would be OK but for daily use I would pass.

Very nice tool
I like all of the adapters so that you get crimp on the connectors. The wire stripping tool works well
