I'd heard about the benefits of a white noise machine for poor sleeping in the past but had never tried one. Last year I bought a dehumidifier for the damp room I was sleeping in and noticed how the steady hum helped me get to sleep much better as I would leave it on whilst I slept. Whilst the dehumidifier did help I couldn't use it every night due to costs and inconvenience so I decided to try out this machine and I am very pleased. For the small price of £20 this machine has helped improve both the quantity and quality of my sleep, which is something that is hard to put a price on. It is an improvement on my dehumidifier which would only make the one sound and would occasionally crackle, whereas this has a variety of noises and adjustable volume. I found that some of the sounds weren'tcalming and relaxing to me but they were to other members of my family and vice versa, so there would likely be a sound for everyone. The machine is excellent for masking jarring outdoor noises like motorcyclists suddenly revving past and noises in my building. Possibly more importantly it helps to relieve and drown out any persistent thoughts and anxieties during the day and before sleep which make you more sensitive to these noises in the first place. The machine is sleek and conveniently small and an added plus point was that that the first charge lasted me over 36 hours rather than the advertised 9 hours, which hopefully will continue. One small con was the increments in volume could have been smaller but wasn't too much of a problem for me. Would definitely recommend giving it a try to anyone that's sceptical and I look forward to a future of good sleep and all the consequent benefits.

This little square metal cube is a great buy, it is quite heavy, has 36 great sounds and drowns out any noise including heavy breathing and snoring. I am a really light sleeper and normally can here my husband breathing but this little cube eliminates all the noises in the night. I have now used it for 3 nights and to be honest its the best 3 nights sleep i have had. It takes around 2.5 hrs to charge and lasts for around 10 hours on constant. I cannot believe such a small, neat item can throw out that much noise as this does. If this tinnitus masker breaks or stops working at any time in the future, for the price i definitely buy another.

Very pleasing looking cool machine that fits nicely in the hand. I am happy to display this in my bedroom due to it being really aesthetically pleasing. A good white noise machine for me has to have a great range of sounds (this machine has an amazing 36 sounds). Those sounds have to sound good if that makes sense. Too many machines can be loud, in fact very loud, but the sounds are not always clear and easily decipherable. The tone of this was great and volume went from low to very high. Battery life was long and I only needed to charge after several nights of use (a usb cable is included). I liked that it is so easy to pick up in the night due to its nicely sized cube shape. if you want to change the settings, they are on the top of the machine and there are only five and easy to remember by touch if you don't want to turn on a light. This machine is splendid for masking exernal noise that you just don't want to hear due to its sound quality and powerful speaker. Place it near the window for traffice noise, or next to a party wall for neighbour noise. Along with white noise and fan noise you also get the following options: Rain, river, stream, small waves, heartbeat, wind, dripping water, forest birds, sea waves, running water, fetal sound, cricket sing, thunder and rain, bonfires, pendulums, train, lullaby, music box. My absolute favourite on this was the thunder and my reason for this was because on all other sound machines I have used, the thunder is not continuous. On others it is mixed in with rain and takes ages for the thunder to actually come along. This one differs in that it was continous. That might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I find it really comforting lying in bed and listening to it! This is the 4th white noise machine we’ve tried for our baby and it’s the best one yet. The sound of white noise from the others sound strange. Or they turn themselves off after a while which is annoying. This stays on all night (we keep ours plugged in) and the white noise sound is perfect (not tried the other sounds.

This tiny little box has more power than I could imagine. It will definitely drown out any outside noises. The bass is incredible and literally can shake your hands when holding it. The volume range is perfect. I like the fact that some of the options are nonrepeating. The thunderstorm is my favorite so far and truly sounds realistic. Very simple controls. There are 30, 60, and 90-minute timers which are very easy to set. Or you can just leave it on all the time. The controls are very easy to use (even in the dark). No need for a manual at all. The only thing I'd like is an indicator of what sound is playing, even something as simple as a led counter. Just to make sure I'm on the sounds that I prefer. But the sounds that I'm sold on are fairly easy to find. There are so many (I think 36) different choices for sounds that will allow you to find exactly what strikes your fancy. There is even a heartbeat sound that would be perfect for a haunted house, lol. And the sound that's reminiscent of a ticking clock reminds me of my grandparent's house. The box is small and won't take over your bedside table. It's great that you can use it plugged in or on battery power. It does come with a cord to plug into any usb port but no charger is included.

Wenn man ohne großen Aufwand Geräusche in der beschriebenen Art hören möchte, und das schnell und einfach, mit einem Timer, dann ist es ein super praktisches Gerät. Wir verwenden es hauptsächlich um unser Baby zu beruhigen und zum einschlafen zu bringen und dafür ist es top. Sonst hatte ich immer mit dem Handy oder über den Computer etwas laufen lassen und das ist immer mit Aufwand verbunden und die Geräte brauche ich auch anderweitig wenn das Kind mal schläft. Und das hier ist durch den Akku flexibel einsetzbar und strahlt nicht vor sich hin (Handynetz). Abgesehen davon empfiehlt mir jetzt Spotify schon Babygeräusche als "meinen Mix der Woche"... Mit der White Noise Machine ist das viel einfacher geworden. Gerät anschalten, es merkt sich was vorher eingestellt war und dann läuft die Sache samt Timer. Für mich sehr praktisch und den Kleinen beruhigt es auch (hier muss man gewiss durchprobieren welche Geräusche gut ankommen, bei mir ist es bislang das Meeresrauschen, Herzschlag, brummender Ventilator / weißes Rauschen und die Einschlaf Melodien). Zuerst soll man das Gerät aufladen und anschließend kann es über den Akku laut Angaben bis zu 9 Stunden benutzt werden. Ich habe die Zahl nicht überprüft aber das Gerät war letzte Woche täglich, teilweise mehrfach, im Einsatz und ich denke die Angabe könnte stimmen, denn bislang musste ich nicht aufladen. Nachdem ersten Einschalten fängt direkt schon ein Lüftergeräusch an zu spielen, wobei die gute Tonqualität echt überrascht für das kleine Gerät. Es klingt nicht blechern und flach sondern eher so als würde da wirklich ein Ventilator oder ähnliches stehen. Die Lautstärke lässt sich regeln und passt für uns auch gut. Das Gerät ist auch nicht zu leicht und hat auf der Unterseite einen Gummiring, durch den es nicht rutscht auf glatten Oberflächen. Die Haptik ist wertig. Neben der Soundkulisse ist auch ein Licht am Gerät welches sich dimmen lässt und pulsieren kann. Hier lassen sich verschiedene Farben wählen. Eine Beschreibung der verfügbaren Töne steht in der Produktbeschreibung, weswegen ich diese hier nicht wiederhole. Jedoch finde ich persönlich die Wahl gut gelungen. Ich hätte vielleicht noch mehr Melodien gebrauchen können, das sind nur zwei - jedoch bevorzuge ich sowieso weniger Musik und eher Naturklänge oder weißes Rauschen. Es gibt auch Töne auf die ich hätte ganz verzichten können, nämlich ein tropfender Wasserhahn und eine tickende Uhr. Ansonsten ist die Auswahl für uns aber groß genug und qualitativ gut. Die Box kann wirklich nur als White Noise Machine und als Licht eingesetzt werden und nicht anderweitig benutzt werden, z.B. als zusätzlicher Speaker. Für den beworbenen Einsatzzweck kann ich das kleine Gerät durchaus empfehlen.

As a Maternity nurse I can say this is one of the best in the market. Easy to use , last long hours and the sound is loud enough to make a proper barrier to help baby to sleep.

UPDATE: Renpho customer service reached out to me after I posted this review. They asked that I send a video and confirmed it wasn’t working a it should. They informed me of the product warranty and refunded my order so I could buy another one. They really do stand by their products and they make the whole process easy. Original review: This was the perfect white noise machine. Small but loud and has lots of options to find the perfect sound. Works great plugged in or on battery. I used this every night for 9 months before the volume seemed lower. It continued get quieter and at 11 months and I now need to replace it. I’m surprised as I’ve purchased many Renpho products and I’ve never had one of their products last less than a year. Unfortunate, as this little machine was perfect for my needs.
