Q: Is this made in the usa?

Q: How is stainless steel ear cleaner used?

The 4 piece set includes an ear cleaner. It's inserted into the ear carefully & rotate & it will grab hold of the wax when you remove. Hope this helps.

Q: do they slip when cutting, hard to handle?

I have not experienced the clippers slipping when clipping nails. For me, the clippers are easy to handle.

Q: Can the end of the nail file be used to clean nails?

Not really. It is wide and thick which makes cleaning difficult. I found another thin one to clean nails. There is a space or two for it. Other than that I am very happy with this set. One of the best I have purchased.
