When I first opened it, I noticed that the rim material will be easily stay on top of the shower drain, and not easily move about/around.I tested it right away.Puddle? - Yes. But not a huge amount. Does not get up to my ankle at all.I tried moving it with my feet. Not very easy to move around. Stayed in place pretty good. Though I did not try to kick it. I’m no soccer player. My missing rate definitely far exceeds my success rate.Easy to clean - Yes! I have had a haircut recently, and there were still quite a lot of hair (the ones being cut away. I am not going bald!) stuck on the drain stopper.There is a small handle at the rim. I used that to lift the stopper and moved it on top of the trash can. I tap it against the side of the trash can, and everything fell off of the stopper.I just simply rinse off the stopper and place it back over the shower drain.So far so good. Love it!Sorry, no pictures. You don’t want to see the hairy stopper. I guarantee it!

This is a simple thing, when it works, it's great, when it doesn't it's so annoying! My 20 year old plastic hair catcher, which wasn't that good to begin with, was worse than ever, so I decided to (easily I thought) find a new one. Tried one and it was AWFUL! Didn't catch anything! I sent it back and tried this one, figuring it was too simple to work properly. IT WORKS GREAT! Stays put, catches all my short hair, fits on the bathtub drain without any fiddling, cleans up easily and the water and soap suds drain right out, no puddle in the tub! I am one happy old lady!! Highly recommend!

My brittle hair tends to break easily, and this was havoc on our shower drain. Having to pull out disgusting build-up is a nightmare. This drain guard absolutely helps, and it’s super easy to clean after each shower. Because it does not stick to the top, it’s easy to take off to clean or even just to wipe off. The little plugs it comes with help keep it from sliding around too much while showering, but if you do tend to have to stand over the drain in your shower, it will probably get kicked off the drain a time or two. But it is easy to just nudge it back on and keep showering. It looks nice and holds up to being stood on. Very good construction quality.

I have an AmazerBath hair catcher in one bathroom and wanted to replace it, but it's no longer available. I picked this one because it had pins to keep it in place. The size is a little small, but works for my purpose. The pins are black rather than matched to the gray silicone, so they look like little bugs or something in the drain. They are also very short and flexible and don't do much to keep the thing in place. My other one has a metal pin in the center. The tab with the logo is just stupid. It just flaps about. Why not fill in a few of the holes in the metal and put the logo there? I don't love it, but it does the job. Will be on the look out for something better.

I have a lot of hair and when I wash it a ton comes out. I have been looking for a product that will catch my hair and not back the water up. Some of the products I’ve tried in the past do catch the hair but I end up standing in 3 inches of water before I’m finished showering. Then when that water does drain your left with “icky” stuff on the bottom of the tub. I have a tub/shower combo. I have found what I’ve been looking for. It works GREAT!!! It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It catches all my hair and the water drains like it’s not even there.It comes with 2 screws where you can attach it down to keep it from sliding around but I don’t use them. I just set it on top of the drain and it stays it place. I have no problem with it moving around. Then as soon as I’m finished I just pick it, remove the hair and my bathtub if “icky stuff” free. If this is what your looking for buy this product!! You won’t be disappointed.

We are always concerned about extra protection for all our drains as having to snake them out is gross and sometimes expensive. In our shower we had an inverted stainless steel mesh basket which was ok, but we were always having to reposition it. Finally the mesh opened up with prickly wire ends, so that was the end of that! This cover has some nice features. For one thing, it fits a standard Oatey drain cover (about 4.5"). It has that brushed look so it matches everything that's trending. The silicone ring around the edge helps to keep it from slipping around and there are two silicone pegs that you can position in a good place to assist further in slippage. The pegs are soft, so it's not like you can knock it and it won't move but they do help. The silicone ring also has tiny grooves on the bottom which I am assuming were put there to keep it from flooding and will also help prevent mold growth as it can drain better than if it were solid. My husband has not dislodged it so I can safely say it has passed The Big Test:) Yay!!!
