This stand is very pretty and holds bananas up off the counter. It is somewhat difficult to hang them up because there's a ball on the tip of the hook, so you have to work to push it between bananas. The hook is also very close to the top, adding further challenge. My previous banana stand I could hang any part of a banana bunch from. This only works on one of the outside bananas of a bunch. It has occasionally tipped over, if the banana bunch is large.

This may sound a little strange, but this Banana Tree was purchased as a toy. I have had one for a few years now and absolutely love it. I have a very good friend that has an autistic child that visits my home often. Every time he visits, he removes the bananas and plays with it. With each visit I always told his parents that he was going to get one for his birthday. Instead I purchased it as a Christmas gift. The child was overwhelmed when he opened the package. He now carries it wherever he goes. He absolutely loves it!! Not only is it functional, but it has brought Great Joy to a child!! I couldn't be happier!!!

While this banana tree will hold your bananas, you have to be sure the bananas aren't going to hang over the base too much. It falls over if the bananas aren't hanging in the right place, especially if there are more of them in the bunch. The holder looks nice and my wife likes how it looks, except for the fact that its base is either not large enough, they need a fourth foot for more stability, or the hook needs to be centered better so the banana holder doesn't tip over when you hang bananas on it.

I purchased this and loved it but had to send it back because it was a fraction taller than it said on the website. So, it was a tad to tall to fit under my upper kitchen cabinets.

At first I thought this was a disaster purchase that wouldn't be worth the effort to return. Like others here, I hung up a bunch of 4 bananas and it kept tipping over. I was about to give up and pitch it when I looked closer and realized - it was just off center! I bent the hook more toward the center of the bottom base (it was easy to do) and it was re-balanced, completely solving the tipping over problem. Right now I have a bunch of 9 average sized bananas hanging on the hook no problem, but I've also had a lesser amount of large bananas hanging too. You have to kind of pull the bunch apart a bit to work the hanger ball through them, but it also helps to keep them from slipping off the hook so not that big of an issue. This was a bargain!

It is nearly impossible to get the bananas on the hook, it curves under and not much room.

It's perfect! The tree is sturdy and attractive.

The angle of the banana holder makes it quite difficult to attach the bananas to the holder. I just needs to have this adjusted to be perfect!

I purchased this as a gift for a relative because they didn't have one. They loved it!
