Has anyone noticed a strange gaslike smell when using it?

It’s been a bit awkward as I got “burnt” a bit when using it and was going to get in touch with the support. I had a T-shirt in between and not directly in my skin. Worked fine in the beginning but scared to use it now :(.

When I turn on the pad for the first time the power light comes on and then the heat light comes on but as soon as I press the massage it all go's off

You mean the lights all turn off ? Please try again according to the user manual. If it still does not work weill, please contact us support@comfiermassager.com to replace it.

When I switch on the controller the heat works but the massage buttons flash green and everything goes off..... Is that normal?

Hello, it is indeed possible to use the heating together with the massage function. I also tend to do two half hour sessions back to back with no issues. One time it overheated and I had to wait half hour for the next session.
