This holster fits my Ruger LCR perfectly. Quality leather and good stitching.

Finally, I found the perfect leather holster for my S&W 1 7/8" barrel. The holster is soft quality leather and the barrel comes right up to 1/8" from the edge of the holster. Perfect for my snub nose. Like a custom fit. Other holsters are made for the J frame but for up to 3" barrels which is too much material for the snubby. The clip is strong steel. The cut of the holster is perfect, being able to draw from the holster without any clearance issues. While reholstering you have to manipulate the top of the holster. This is fine because the holsters that have a wide stiffened top are too bulky for me. I'd rather have the slimmer holster and this is slimmer than 2 others I've tried & returned. Plus the edges of the holster where the 2 sides are pressed together are finished and slim. Like they were heated together. And of course there is stitching all around. Function first, asthetics 2nd, but this is not only a great functioning holster but also a very good looking holster. When I first received the holster there was a little extra space between the cylinder and the inside of the holster so I placed the holster with the gun inside in a vise with the jaws protected so not to damage the leather or gun. The holster formed perfectly.Great holster and I highly recommend the Cardini holster.

Great quality holster, takes a few days to break in so don't get upset if it shows up tight. Seems well worth the money.

I purchased this holster before Amazon began restricting it's sale and shipping to my state. I live in a legal conceal carry state so this makes absolutely no sense. Amazon states that it's individual sellers choosing not to ship to certain states but if you talk with those sellers they say, no, it's Amazon placing the restriction. It seems no one can get a straight answer on this. It's happening to multiple states. Even if Amazon will still ship to your state, take your business away from them, just like they are attempting to take your gun rights away from you. This is the definition of infringement on our rights. All of these holsters can be purchased direct from the manufacturer.That said, this holster is comfortable and sturdy and fits a Smith and Wesson 38 special, Airweight, well. I've used it daily for well over a year. I wear it in my waistband only, no belt. The gun fits tight enough that I do need to do a two handed draw, pushing down on the top of the holster while pulling the gun out. After a year the leather has not loosened up much. I don't worry about the hold being too loose but I do have to do that two handed draw. My only complaint is that the metal clip destroys clothing. Any shirt, if slightly fitted, rubs against it and ultimately cuts holes in the fabric. I've resorted to a piece of duct tape over the outside of the clip.

I'm sorry I didn't buy this sooner. I've always been a Safariland and DeSantis person. I'm sorry I didn't hear about Cardini Holsters sooner. AWESOME holster. Fits gun perfectly. Comfortable to conceal. Very good, real, genuine leather. Might take a little while to break in. But it's a great holster.

Fits the jframe perfectly upon arrival

This is well stitched and the leather is decent, the tooling is basically for show on the exterior. Tye molding doesn’t translate to the inside of the holster, it’s just on the outer surface. You can tell this was molded more for the LCR pistols, definitely not great for the S&W 642. For the price it’s ok but I’m currently looking for a better option
