These are nice sturdy brackets for butcher block shelf however they do bend a bit. We installed in a corner so was able to pin to side wall no problems on big shelf. The smaller shelf about 18” moves a bit up and down when loading. Now very little and no worries about it but not rock solid

These are designed to handle a standard 8" board (actual width of an 8" pre-cut board is 7 1/4"). They are heavy and very sturdy; metal thickness is .2" or 5mm. The horizontal flange is 7 7/8" long and the vertical flange is 4'' tall; the inside dimension of the lip is 7/8" tall. The counter sunk mounting holes are 1/4" diameter. I will be using my own heavier wood screws for mounting as I will be mounting to wood studs in my garage.

These brackets are clean looking and all came in the exact same size. I used a laser level to mark the bottom holes and everything stayed level when hanging shelf boards.Each bracket fits a 12" wide board from Home Depot (11.25" actually) and will leave you about 1/2" of wiggle room. Anchors aren't great, the plastic shatters easily. I used my own where I didn't have studs.I'm going to buy more and do shelves in my bedroom next!

The shelves are thick and sturdy. They look great above a long window. The spacing for the shelf board is 11-3/8” so it is not a standard shelf board.I had to take the shelf brackets to the bench vise to bend them so all the bend angles were the same but it was not much and took a few minutes.The self screwing wall anchors are JUNK! It shattered while I was screwing into a predrilled hole. Go buy a good wall anchor at the hardware store and save some trouble for yourself. I was missing a long screw but I have plenty to replace it.

These were perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I was wondering if they would be strong enough to hold these boards, and I am confident they will be fine.

I chose the antique gold and the brackets are sturdy, well made and very attractive. Had my glass cut 40”x11 1/8 x 3/8 and they fit perfectly. The 11.25 likely would have worked but wanted to be safe. I installed using 1/8 butterfly anchors and they’re solid as a rock. I wouldn’t use the enclosed anchors if planning anything heavy. I spraypainted the anchor heads gold and they blend beautifully. An extra step but simple and well worth it. Highly recommend these brackets!

I really like these shelf brackets. They seem very sturdy, which is great for my laundry room shelves over the washer & dryer pair. It's going to be great to FINALLY have shelves for laundry supplies or "buyers' club" household items like 12-packs of paper towels or 36-packs of T.P. I can hardly wait to have my sons install them so I can fill them up!

Note that if you are using more than one packet of brackets in a single long shelf, the screw holes on the row of brackets may not all exactly align. The brackets themselves work well and look great.
