The book is easy follow and good for beginners up to intermediate but the promise of download able bonuses and pdfs etc don't work!. This was the reason I bought the book as I wanted one with a CD, which are no longer avaliable, so going online to download the backup lessons was the next best thing, if it worked. The site has closed down so beware when purchasing.

Very Basic Ideal for beginners like Me

I really enjoyed this book. It covers all the essentials and gets you playing to a basic level. Everything is clearly explained and the writer does an excellent job of keeping the interest going with some witty and humerous writing whilst getting the information across very well. This book will not turn you in to a bass playing expert, but it will give you enough to get started and build some confidence.
