Works fine when used with a good quality powerful USB C charger.
Works well with my mid 2015 MacBook pro Retina.I'm using with a charger that can do up to 150W, so the 85W that this cable draws is just fine. Also, it looks and feels almost exactly like the original Apple charger cable that came with the laptop ten years ago. That doesn't really matter, but it's neat.

Not for MacBook Pro Mid 2014.
I bought this cable for a MacBook Pro Mid 2014, the T side of the cable does not work (match) with this model computer.and it has totally different structures compared to the original cable which comes with computer.but it is a well made cable by Apple probably for other apple modes.

Awesome cable for 2014 Mid MacBook Pro
Its been couple of weeks, so far, works perfectly fine with MacBook Pro mid 2014 15inch. Its such a relief to find something that directly plugs into usb C adapter, no longer have to keep buying regular bulky MacBook charger that over heats. Works great with anker 737 power bank and anker nano charger

Perfect cable for older MacBook Air if you have the right charger (at least 65W)
The cable works perfectly for my 2015 MacBook Air when I use at least a 65W charger. I got the Amazon basics 65w Gan charger with one USB-c outlet and it charged the MacBook from dead to 100% in less than an hour using this cable. The only difference to the original cable is that the red LED light is not as bright. However, the cable itself is thicker and sturdier. Highly recommended.

Doesn't do exactly what I need it to do, but is nice to hace
The description says it is reccomnded to have a 65W minimum input, and I can confirm that this cord will not supply power to my MacBook Air when plugged into a 45w USB-C Power that I have panel mounted on a battery box I built. However, it works with the 60W port on my Jackery. That is sort of moot since the Jackery has an inverter so I can use the normal A/C adapter charging cable. But the cool thing is I can charge the computer from my Anker 737 power Power Bank and it's worth it just for that.

Doesn't work with Satechi 75W Charger
I was hopeful that this would work so I could charge multiple laptops with the same charger, but different USB-C cables. The Satechi 75W charger works on all the laptops I have, including a USB-C Macbook Air (A2337), but it did not work for the older Macbook Air (A1466). I also tried the j5create 185W charger, using the 140W port and the same Macbook Air did not work. The Macbook chargers with the original charger.

It’s a lifesaver
I needed this to charge my laptop in my car. You need a 65w plug, which was a bit of a pain to find, but I did and this charges quickly and efficiently. The fit on the charging port is also perfect. It works great!
