Purchased this bracelet for a dear friend who is, indeed, my chosen family. The bracelet is beautifully shiny. The engraved leaves on the top are just beautiful and the "Friends are the Family we choose" inscription is easy to read and truly heartfelt. My close friend recently found out her boyfriend was cheating on her and lying to her and just being a sleezy slimeball in general. She broke up with him immediately upon finding out, but it's been difficult for her to really quit him: she slips up here n there and will let him come spend the night, he will pass out and she looks into his phone only to find more deceit, more lies, etc it's just an u healthy recurring sh*t cycle of chaotic deja vu on repeat.... She has been so sad, and so down ... I ordered this for her a little over a month ago, in my efforts to lift her spirits in regards to the whole situation. She has yet to take it off!!! It still looks great, it's not tarnished or covered in scratches. It's not leaving any gross color ring on her skin beneath it. It's not becoming misshapen or presenting her any discomfort- and she literally wears it all the time, she said the only time she takes it off is when she is bragging about it and showing it off to anyone around. When I gave it to her, her eyes welled up with tears, but they were accompanied by the hugest smile on her face. She tells me almost every day how much she loves it and how much it means to her. And you know what? I'm not gonna say this bracelet got her over that d*bag ... but what I can say for certain is that the gesture and the gift revived her beautiful smile, and truly helped ease at least a fraction of her heartache- which is a feat that she had prior claimed that NOTHING would be able to do!! So to me, this little gem is absolutely PRICELESS- it's worth about 1k× what I spent on it. And then some!!!!
