When I need to burn/cut on my Longer B1 30 watt laser, it is ready to go. When I may want to connect/use my Atomstack Rotary to engrave glassware, it was necessary to reach Waaay back, under the laser vent hood, to disconnect the "Y'" axis cable from the stepper motor to then connect the "Y" drive cable to the rotary. Then to resume normal burning/cutting, I would need to repeat the process = PIA :-).... Now, this mod is not going to "save the world", but, it DOES save me time and frustration in connecting/disconnecting/connecting my rotary for those jobs. Now, I just "flip a switch" and I'm good to go with whatever lasering job is at hand.... Both the normal "Y" axis stepper motor AND the rotary are BOTH connected and a simple switch flip saves the day and lots of time.... FUN to build too....

Highest quality,rugged, easy to install. Screw terminals are offset so youinstal from the itwo on the inside first, then spiralling outward around the edge. Excellent design. Case is tough and sturdy. Great value.

Probably ok for many non-critical applications but for me it seemed flimsy, the physical size too small to allow safe separation of all 12(!) connections. I decided to go with a larger format, domestically produced 4pdt switch that had built in separation baffles for the 12 terminals. As I never actually used this switch, I can't condemn it; I'm sure it will work fine.

For the one person in a hundred who actually might know what a 4PDT switch is, and for the 1% of that group that might have need of one someday, this switch is very well made and costs a fraction of what it’s quality would suggest. If I live long enough to need another, I will not hesitate to get this same one again. Very quick shipping! ( I used it for a special function in a solar RDS circuit, but it can be used in a range of special applications. It is working perfectly.) In deference to the reviews questioning the 15 amp rating, they are probably correct. It looks a little light for 15 amps. I would rate it at about half that. My load is a fraction of 15 amps.

This is a simple 4 pole 2 position switch which works great for switching between 2 sets of speakers.Being 4 poles, it switches all 4 wires with the flip of the switch.Used it to be able to turn outdoor speakers on and off, it works great for that purpose.

Exact replacement for one on my Champion generator. Some how original switch got broke off. Easy to install just pay attention to what wire went where.

This switch is well made and works very smoothly. I liked the fact that the connections have screws. It allowed me to disassemble and reassemble the project when troubleshooting.I would assume you could always remove the screws and solder it if you wanted a more permanent connection, but I didn’t try that.I highly recommend it.
