I only bought this doll for her extremely cute outfit mainly for a different fashionista... As much as I love her cute face and the extremely cute outfit she came in, her hair is pretty terrible... As cute as the sky blue hair is, it's frizzy and not soft and weirdly enough defies gravity when you play with her gently, even brushing her hair doesn't fix the fact that the hair truly is the main problem with this doll... I wish Mattel chose a different material to use for this particular doll's hair. If you're an adult collector and just displaying her go for it... But if this is for a kid who most likely isn't gentle on barbie hair, then this will become a mess in no time... if you dont have kids who are gentle on toys and doll hair specifically that is. I haven't attempted washing her hair yet because I know for a fact that her hair would most likely become matted... If you are a doll customizer, re-root her hair is my number 1 recommendation. I ended up gifting the doll re-dressed in other clothes to a family friends daughter who said "I love her sky blue hair, but her hair feels weird."

Another perfect doll

We already have the Hispanic looking doll with the silver prosthetic leg. They are both super cute! The prosthetic legs are removable but I found hard to properly put back on but it can be done. As with our other Fashionista with the prosthetic, super cute face mold, nice hair, great concept, I would have loved a made to move body instead and would happily pay the extra for that. The clothes are not flattering but clothes can changes easily enough. I would absolutely say this doll is worth buying if you’re a collector or if you’re like me and just like to give your kids or other peoples kids dolls that are awesome!

The hair and face on this doll are very original. The face has up-tilted eyes, which are unusual on Barbie dolls, making the eyes appear to be smiling. Since the doll is actually smiling, it really brings the face to life, a very happy looking doll. The hair is a distinct dusky-sky-blue, and has an original style with the two front braids and wavy texture. You can brush the hair, but it will reduce the waviness and you will get snags or tangles at the ends. The neck line is a bit weird, because of how narrow the chin is. You can see the seam at the base of the head from many different angles. The head is also a slightly more yellow color than the body, or you could say the body is slightly more red color than the head. You really only notice this in direct bright light. It is a flat-footed doll, so it cannot wear the pointed-toe shoes. The shoulders and hips are the only joints that can bend. One arm is fixed in a bent position. The outfit is awesome! Rainbow punk. The belt has 3 different sizes it can snap to (rubber peg fits into one of three hole-slots on the back side). The shirt & skirt are separate, individual items. The shirt has a velcro strip connecting it in the back. The skirt has a full length velcro strip connecting it in the back.

Love the expression on this dolls face. I actually love her crimped hairstyle, I read bad reviews but her hair adds to to her personality. I re-dressed her in another outfit that shows off her hair. She reminds me of my niece who is a stylist who is always dyeing her hair different bright colors, including this light blue. She can be a toy or model as far as I am concerned.

I am so so happy with this product. And the leg is not a pale as in this photo it is a bit darker to me. But anyhow I feel it is great that they made a doll like this. A child could have lost a leg to an accident or medical issue and having a happy confident looking doll may help a young child feel better.

This Barbie is sweet with the blue kinky hair. A nice change for my Granddaughters collection of Barbies. I recommend this doll.

Es preciosa y muy original. Tengo ésta y también la anterior muñeca con la pierna ortopédica. Tiene una cara preciosa con ricitos pintados. El peinado es muy bonito pero mejor no deshacerle las trenzas -- vienen con tanta laca que están durísimas al tacto, es imposible quitarle la laca por mucho que lo laves.

Super article. Par contre le livreur a jeté le colis par dessus mon portail. Si je n'avais pas été plus loin dans le jardin, je n'aurais pas vu l'article avant de rentrer chez moi. ça aurait pu bloquer l'ouverture de mon portail où j'aurai roulé dessus en voiture. Bref, le livreur n'était pas pro.
