No, I doesn’t, cover made from premium paper.

Q: Is this hard cover or floppy soft cover

Soft cover but it is sturdy. I love it. Have used the 2 yr calendars for many years. So easy to check back on events year after year.

Q: I have this planner and have loved it for a year and a half. I am having a hard time finding one just like it for the years 2020-2022. Any ideas?

Q: Can you purhase the one piece clear plastic covers with these anywhere (as were included with the older versions)?

I would think you could purchase a plastic cover at any store such as Best Buy, Office Max, etc. I save my planner from year to year so I have several if I would like to use them but actually the cover that comes on the planner has a shiny surface that protects quite well.
