I worked and made in the USA
Was having reception issues with my 2011 jeep wrangler unlimited , I noticed this one was 31 inches a little shorter than the factory one . ( I do know that a CB raido has to have a certain length coaxial and antenna) so I got this and it worked for me good reception now..THANK YOU MADE IN THE ((USA))

Wow! I didn't know we had so many FM channels in this City!
I bought this fabulous Jeep Wrangler JK (2012) but it had a useless stubby little antenna and I wasn't getting many channels, especially not my local NPR stations. (SC/GA)Anyhow, I tried out one of these antennas and was totally surprised how many FM channels I have access to. (Excuse the bad grammar)Now, when I hit the 'next channel' scanner button, boom!Dozens of FM channels to hear.Try one!You may be surprised.

Black 31”Antenna is What Jeep Should Install at Factory on JLs
I bought the black 31” antenna to replace the 35” silver one that came on my new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I really didn’t like the look of the factory silver one since my JL is Granite Crystal Metallic and it primarily has exterior trim parts that are black - not silver. The black 31” antenna is 4” shorter than than silver factory one. As you can see in my photos, the black 31” antenna still goes slightly above the roof line (level on the hardtop is there simply as a reference point for before and after). I also included a photo that shows how it looks at the connection point. It came with the needed male thread on the black 31” antenna and it was a very quick uninstall of the old one and install of the new one. I used a 3/8” open-end wrench to remove the silver factory antenna and I used an adjustable wrench to install the new one - new antenna could not be installed with the same 3/8” open-end wrench because it’s a different size. I temporarily put blue painters tape around the bottom of the black antenna mast during the installation of the black 31” antenna to prevent any scratching and it worked well. I checked several local HD radio stations both before and after and I didn’t notice any signal loss. It seems like the signal strength was exactly the same but I get the benefit of the black antenna which matches my Jeep trim color so much better. Extremely happy with this purchase. This is what Jeep should install at the factory rather than the silver antenna.Update 1/14/20: I’ve been using this antenna for several months now and I’ve experienced zero signal loss with HD and non-HD for any of my local radio stations. Still very happy with this purchase.

Great replacement for short antennas that don't work
I had tried several of the short antennas and could barely pick up any stations on a clear day. Now I can get several stations and can still pick them up a long way off. I did not have this vehicle when it had the original antenna, but I believe this one to be as good or better.

Massive upgrade
Replaced a stubby from the previous owner on a Jeep Wrangler and went from 4 stations to 43. Amazing.

Very good while it lasted: 3 years
I bought this almost 3 years ago to replace the super-weak factory whip antenna on my 2018 Wrangler JL Sahara. It worked very well and did not bend or whip around nearly as much in the wind as the factory model, but literally last night as I was finishing drying my Jeep after hand-washing it the antenna broke off its screw-in base when I went to hand-tighten it after noticing it was loose. The inside-the-post metal is of that type that is very porous/cheap and it just didn't hold up, though I don't know to what since I hand-wash my Jeep all the time. Either way, I am now literally on Amazon ordering a different antenna replacement. Unfortunately, just another example of cheap products from China not lasting very long...
