What can I say...It's a power cord. I bought this for my generator which I installed outside the house. Using the Reliance Controls outdoor plug receptacle mounted to the house, I needed a power cord to plug the generator into the receptacle.Most others I looked at where a lot more expensive than this one. I only needed 5-Feet, but this 10-foot cord worked fine.It's much thicker than I thought, is fully molded as one piece, so piece of mind should you be connecting everything in the rain.It's a great plug, with an attractive price.It does the job well.

Very happy with this. Had to wait to get it cause I ordered it right after hurricane Sandy hit the northeast coast, but it was well worth the wait for the high quality and the very reasonable price. Other places sell this same cord for twice as much, and waiting was no big deal for us in Ohio, it was just emergency prep's for us anyway.

Does it's job.

This cord is of very good quality for the money, in my opinion. I expect that it will give good service. If the length suits your needs, you'll probably spend more in time, materials and effort to make your own from purchased parts than you will to simply order this one and be done with it.One thing: the "Product Features" list for this item says that it has "12-gauge 4 wire" conductors. They're actually the heavier 10-guage wires (as they should be) as shown in the descriptions for the longer L14-30 lengths in the Reliance Controls brand.

Cord is well put together and nice and flexible. I had ordered a 20 foot cord by another manufacturer and then while browsing found this one. I quickly cancelled my first order from Amazon and ordered this one and I am glad I did. Ten feet gives me room to spare without most of the cord hanging on the wall. I haven't tried it yet as I am waiting for final work on my transfer switch but I have it plugged in and cord on hook above so it is ready without having too much groping to do in the dark. I'm sure the cord will do it's job well and if not Reliance has a 24 month warranty...very generous.

We have had this cord for over three years, and it serves it purpose of a stand-by generator power cord very well. Its 10 feet/30 amp and seems to be well constructed.
