Works But...
This item works great. The design is my only issue. Although it fits perfect where it is supposed to go, the screws that should screw into the PS2 are not screws at all. I do have concerns of this disconnecting when it shouldn't.It does work perfect however. I'm even using a 1TB drive that isn't listed on the compatibility chart.If there screws had been correct, it would have gotten 5 starts.

Plugged In & Works
It took me all of 2 minutes to inbox this bad boy and plug my HDD in. I had a small issue at first getting both screws to go in, but that was an issue with the console models threading on the left side which is a known issue.My HDD works, I've been playing games for weeks now. Absolutely happy to have this.

Connect sata hard drives to a PS2
This adapter works perfectly and it is a great price for what it lets you do. I used it to launch fhdb and now I can play all my old ps2 games without using the ps2 disk reader or worrying about scratched disks. I strongly recommend this product to anyone with an old fat ps2.

Will never buy again
After sitting for thirty minutes trying to get it to seat into the ps2 I had enough and threw it away. It would only slide in and connect if I didn’t have the hard drive or ssd with adapter disconnected from the device. Waste of time and money go buy another product before you mess up your PS2
