It is a wonderful puzzle. It will be a learning experience for her. She is not reading totally, yet. She worked it with only minimal help.

We got this puzzle for our four year olds birthday. She absolutely loves it and puts it together multiple times a day. At first she learned the puzzle with the picture in the background and she just matched the pieces to the background. Then I got her to remove the background picture and she realized she could put the puzzle together without it.The pieces are made from wood. They are all similar in cut which means you need to observe where the pieces are supposed to go and not just rely on the pieces fitting together.We will definitely be buying more puzzles like this one.

Poor quality pieces was to small and flimsy for a six year old to handle. Very disappointed would never buy again, not worth the money

The kids loved the puzzle, but I wish there were a bag or box to keep the pieces in when not in the frame

Small in size, smaller than a typical puzzle and the pieces are a little flimsy so it’s hard to work the puzzle and try the different parts while being careful not to rip it...

I bought two of them they were gifts to other people so I don't know anything about the sturdiness of them however I haven't gotten any complaints yet all the pieces were there and it was just a puzzle of the United States.

This is a really nice puzzle. It comes with picture insert that you can either leave down to help beginners or leave to the side as a reference. My 4 and 5 year olds had fun working together to finish this!

My daughter was so excited to receive this puzzle, only to be disappointed days later since we had to return it. The image just fell off of two of the wood puzzle pieces, which allowed me to see that the pieces were not cut well/are not smooth on top. I wanted to at least give this item a 3 star rating, but we also do not like how thin the pieces are and that they didn't lock into place easily. What adds to the frustration is that this item is designated as an "Amazon Choice" item - I would expect more of a product labeled that.
