Looks Exactly How it is Described
It looks like what I was seeing in the description for this item. I just got this today, and I went back and looked at photos of this model online while looking at the actual physical item and comparing them. The watch that I am planning on putting this band on is not being delivered until tomorrow, so I will have to update this review once I get it connected. It is a large and heavy model watch and why I wanted to match it up with a heavy looking band. The watch is the Citizen Eco-Drive Military Chronograph CA4095-04H, and it comes with a NATO type nylon webbing band that I'm not really interested in, and want something that is a little bit more elegant but in a tough sort of way. I will report how the pairing comes out.Update: Got the watch delivered and proceeded to work on the customization. On this particular watch it is easy to take the band off, since it is a nylon fabric affair that just slips out from between the pins and that watch body. Then you can just grab the pin with your fingers and take a thumbnail and catch the notch on one of the ends to compress it, and it comes right out. Of course this is not easy if you were to decide to take the new band off later, and you may need a pin tool to get at that same notch. Anyway, I pushed the pins into the holes at the center ends of the band parts, and put one end in, then used my fingernail again but this time catching the very end of the pin to get it onto the flat of the body notch for the band, and looked at it with my highest powered reading glasses, and set it to where it was straight, and the pin end found its hole.So the result is a nice big military type watch face without the too obviously military aspect that comes with that NATO webbing band. Now I should add that the original band is fantastic, and I wish that I knew someone who I could sell it to, who would want it.But I am very happy with the way I set it up, and do not at all regret the decision that I arrived at before I even got the new watch.

Lives up to Good Reputation
Hirsch is an old brand with a good reputation. This is my first Hirsch and I see why they are so well-regarded. This is better quality than the stock strap that came with my Hamilton (which wore out after only a year). I'm well pleased, especially at this low price point. It just feels honest and solid. For anyone wondering how to figure out which size to buy there are two options. 1) Measure the inside width between the lugs using a ruler. Americans will need to convert to millimeters. Google can go that for you. Typical sizes are 18mm, 20mm, 22mm. Or, do what I did: go to the seller or manufacturer's website. They normally list the lug width in the specs for the watch. Easy. As far as swapping it out, I bought a cheap watch band tool on Amazon... it's like a tiny little fork. https://www.amazon.com/Spring-Tool-Yookat-Removal-Stainless-Replace/dp/B01F85FCBI/ But you can probably improvise. Having the tool is nice because you can easily change the watch bands for your friends and family too.

Quality replacement for the LG Watch Urbane
I got the LG Watch Urbane through Verizon, and I have to say that I was almost perfectly happy with it. The one thing that didn't hold up, was the watch band that LG chose to use. So I went on the hunt for a 22mm replacement watch band. That's where I found this. The first thing I can say after using this band for several days, is that you can feel the quality. It's a high quality leather, with a very nice stitching down the band, wrapping the side at the ends close to the watch. It's a perfect fit for a 22mm band, which is to be expected as that's what it's sold for. The look of it again, speaks quality. You can tell right away that it's not just your average band, and it's a cut above the rest. Most of the bands that I came across weren't solid leather, but had some sort of core, which made them uncomfortable. This one, solid leather, single piece. This isn't a band you have to break in, from day one, it's comfortable. I'd get it again, possibly with a different color of stitching depending on my mood.

the quality is good, but I feel the price is too high ...
I'm using this strap on my Citizen Nighthawk aviator watch. The fit is right on, the quality is good, but I feel the price is too high compared to others with similar offerings, and it's made in CHINA, but the seller definitely tries its hardest to cover up that fact. You can find other leather straps on the Amazon site from $5-10 less, that are made in the USA. I haven't had mine very long so time will tell, but the little leather "loops" look and feel pretty dainty, while the strap itself is nice and thick but somewhat difficult to bend, so I wonder how long it will be before they break. Judging on looks and the feel of the product this strap deserves 3.5 to 4 stars, but it is overpriced in my opinion.

Great strap, once replaced.
My initial impression of this strap was that it was perfect functionally and esthetically for my Seiko SSC031. Over the first week I found a pretty serious flaw. The buckle-less side of the strap tapered up to only 19mm, instead of 20. As a result, the strap would slide up and down the spring. Once in a while, at the right angle, the strap would pinch the spring and release it from the watch.I was still in the return window with Amazon and got a replacement that's perfect. The strap is very thick but soft and pliable, once worn in. I hope I get many years with it because I absolutely love it.I was going to give it 4 stars having to go through a completely painless return process, but I can't. I think the quality you get for the money is worthy of 5 stars.

Three Stars
Stopped using it. The white string is coming out already after a few months.

Short for my wrist
Great strap that ultimately cam up shorter on my wrist than I would have liked. Only then did I realise these straps can be ordered in different lengths but I am not aware that this is an option when ordering as this item is listed as long. I don't think anyone on amazon is selling an extra long. The HIRSCH web site does identify this different lengths and it is worth a look and checking your wrist size before ordering. But in all other respects it is a fantastic strap which after a couple of months has lost some of its stiffness and given some and I have the pin of the buckle in the third hole from the end of the opposite strap which is the minimum I can use whilst still having the tail end of the strap caught by the retainers next to the buckle.I swapped the strap on a Citizen titanium watch which now looks significantly better. A work college commented that it was the best looking Citizen he had seen, so the strap can add to the appearance of a watch. Just look out for the length if you have big wrists and order accordingly.

Very nice strap.
I am using this on a Bulova Precisionist Claremont. It looks fantastic and is an ideal replacement. The quality of the leather if very high, as is the stainless buckle. The stitching looks very good and neat. I've been using it for a couple of months and it doesn't seem to react with my skin which some leather does. While some leather straps seem to look old very quickly, this looks like it will last for years to come. It is quite a thick strap, ideal for bigger watches - but not for thin dress watches in my opinion.

Love these straps
Love these straps. They last me about 3 years, worn every day. On my last one, the little loops started to split but I bought an identical strap anyway.
