Livabliss Desta Vintage Oriental Area Rug,7'10" x 10'2",Charcoal

The rug came packaged very nicely along with end cap coverings. It was very easy to unroll & lay out & it did not have any strong smell to it. There are only a couple of light wrinkles to fall out and one end will need a couple of books placed on it overnight, but that’s normal. The rug is very soft and has a heavy enough backing that it won’t need a rug pad underneath with my furniture placed on top. There is a slight ombré effect to the rug, but if you look at the product pictures it clearly shows that. It’s a beautiful rug and a great price.

I'll tell it as it is every time! Too many bad experiences with Amazon on the used next to new good merchandise. This one here was a hell of a deal! I bought three rugs that were returned. For whatever reason. The rugs our thinner than I anticipated and required traction backing but that too was bought used good next to new for pennies through Amazon. If the remaining three rugs are still available in the used return for sale. I will purchase them next week. They look amazing if your walls are gray, green, blue, tan or white they will match and look Great! The quality is there also.

This is seriously a great rug, especially for the price! I recently bought a different brand of rug that was $60 more and ended up returning it due to the awful quality. This rug is fantastic! Beautiful colors, not too thick but not too thin either, it isn’t lavishly soft but it’s a lot softer than I expected it to be. I haven’t had any problem with it curling up. I’ve had this rug less than a week and it’s laid flat since the day I unrolled it. I also appreciate the little covers that the company put on the ends of the rug so it wouldn’t get damaged in shipping. I am seriously impressed with the quality, look and size of this rug. I just ordered another one today to put under my dining room table. Shipping was quick too! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Update: 7 months later and I’m still loving both rugs! (2nd pic)

I purchased two of these rugs in October (8x10) for my TV room. One went in our sitting area with 2 couches , a chair and coffee table. The other went under a pedestal table and chairs. The rugs are pretty, but on the thin side. I did place a pad under them both as I have wood floors. The one in the sitting area was great. The one under the table was a disaster! It bunched up on both sides of the table. I even added some anti slip pads between the rug and pad as well as some of the sticky tape for rugs. It would not lay flat. Also one corner kept curling up. I ended up turning the rug upside down and taking my steam iron to the now permanent bumps. This flattened the rug. Then I used Roberts Rug Traction tape on the back. It took 4 rolls. I put it cross wise across the rug in an X, then across all 4 sides and lastly ran 4 strips the whole length OT the rug. We put it back down, kept the pad and the rubber anti slip and it is staying flat and not creeping. I used a felt type under pad. In hind sight would have been better to have gotten one with the rubber on one side. Anyway, it looks nice now. I have big dogs and it does not show dirt wear. For the price it’s an ok rug. Also our dining chairs roll and the pile has not crushed under the castors. Over all an ok rug once I got it to stay flat.

I purchased this rug for our bedroom. I got the 7 foot by 10 foot long one in grey. It’s absolutely beautiful!! It’s not to thick but not to thin either. It looks very expensive & vintage looking. Exactly what I was looking for for our bedroom. I have a full sized bed but eventually getting a queen & it fits under there just the way I wanted it to. It smells only a little bit but only if u stick your nose to it. It’s not that curled up either like other reviews said. It only is a bit on each end where it was rolled up. But I have Velcro tape I will be using for that to keep it secure to the floor anyway. Looks just like the pictures in real life!! Does not look like it was printed on at all. Very high quality for a incredible price. $100 I believe I paid for a 7x10 foot rug is a wonderful price for a great quality looking rug! This is why I love & always only shop on Amazon!!! I purchased a 7 by 10 foot for my living room and I am absolutely pleased with my purchase. I was a little worried because of some of the negative feedback but honestly, for the price, this rug is perfect! I rated 5 stars because I don't think you'd find better quality for something at this price. It added a bit of color and was exactly what I was looking for! I was concerned that it would get dirty because of my lab but the dog hair is easy to remove to keep clean. I was a bit skeptical that I would have to fight with the corners to stay down because of some of the other reviews, but I found that after a few minutes of being unrolled, it went down just fine. If you're looking for a large area rug for a good price, look no further!

The rug is soft and lays fairly flat but is much darker than shown and has black staining. I have another one in gray and it's as described.
