True to size 18x18x1. No weird smells. Nice foam.

I have very breakable and tiny figurines. My husband suggested cutting into the foam and fitting the figurines into the cuts. I did and it worked. I feel the foam is now holding them safe. I'm using them to also surround my small crystal collection during my future move.

Could not get it inside the cushion cover so i put it under the cushion. it works ok. i probably should have gotten thicker.

The foam was foam. I was hoping for firmer but what do I know of foam ratings? Nothing.However I ordered 1-inch thick and it measured only 3/4 inch. That’s a lot when we’re talking about a seat cushion. I stuffed them into the old zippered cases and realized that the cases are exactly 18x18, a little trimming was needed. I won’t return them… but after some time, will I decide if I should try another pair? If so, do I look for 1-inch or 1.5 inch? Will they squeeze in if I actually get 1.5-inch thick ones?Just foam for thought!

This is no way a "firm" upholstery cushion foam. It has little to no support at all. I was expecting something at least close to memory foam. This should be used for shipping and packaging fragile items. For the piece I am restoring I will still use it but I am adding a 1/2" layer of firmer cushion to get the feel I want. Make sure you know what you order. Sitting on this 1" piece of foam isn't much different than sitting on the wood itself.
