I’ve been trying various oils to sharpen my knives. I am very happy with the results as it works wonderfully. It not only lubricates well, but also excels in cleaning the stones of the swarf and protects the steel from rust. It has become my oil of choice. Highly recommend if you’re really serious about sharpening knives.

Use this awesome bad boy on my blades and it does exactly what it claims to! Rust is kept at bay and cleans up really nicely!!

Got this to condition the wood and metal handles of my shaving set to prevent cracks, etc. Can also be used on knives. Looks like authentic Japanese product.

So far so good product definitely lubricates don’t know how well it does against rust we will see.

I purchased this awhile ago and never got around to using it but couldn’t stand a few rust spots on some of my kitchen knives and decided to give it a whirl. I was in total disbelief as to how well it worked! I didn’t look up instructions prior to testing and just allowed the oil to sit about 5-10 minutes. Afterward, I wiped off the knives with a microfiber cloth and couldn’t believe my eyes that the rust spots were gone! I could’ve done a better job on the teensy spots dotting near the knife handles but I’ll get to it another time. In the interim, this oil absolutely did what it said it does and I deem this as a worthy purchase.
