I bought the black 6ft lead for my big boi. Otis is a 150 lb. Great Dane puppy and growing. Nothing, including this lead could stand up to his chewing, but you have ZERO worries about investing in this lead. I loved this lead from the first day I got it. It was soft, durable, stayed clean, felt really comfortable and elegant. He pulls, and the lead still felt comfortable. It survived his slobber and still looked brand new. I really wish it had worked out. He just likes chewing through his leads. Matt took care of me with zero hassles, offereing to either replace it or go for a refund. I had bought this one and a 4 ft leatherish lead. When he chewed through both and the replacements, it was time for a refund. If you are on the fence, know that there is zero risk. They stayed true to their warrenty and even made the process delightful. This is something I have NEVER said before trying to return a product. I'd buy this again if I could trust Otis. I would buy this for just about any other dog out there in a heartbeat. Worth every penny.

I am super happy with this leash. I had looked and looked for a leash with a sturdy fastener that would not weigh down my 14 lb dog who loves to roll. Previously we've had leashes come undone when she rolled around and this worried me. This leash is light and the clasp is easy to use and very sturdy. I find it much more comfortable than any of the other leashes I have owned over many years. I also like how easy it is to clean and my dog does not seem to want to grab and hold on to this leash which is a plus. If you are considering a purchase, I'd say to "go for it." because you can always return it if it doesn't meet your criteria.

This is a sturdy, comfortable and easy to clean leash. One drawback .. after about a year and a half, it becomes kind of hard and cracks begin to appear I had to get a new one. My Buddy is a 110lb dog and it works great with him.

The hook at the end of the leash is extremely secure. No chance of it accidentally opening. The leash material looks like plastic on the Amazon site but it is not and does not have that appearance in person. It is a quality made product, made in the USA. I think the photo of the leash does not do it any justice. As far as tearing or damage as experienced by some, my dog does not bite the leash and I do find that damage discouraging and it did cause hesitancy on my part but I did order the leash and am glad I did. I hope TigerTail can work out the vulnerability of its leash to dog biting.

Recently purchased this leash because our current one was beat up. This is really well made and lightweight. The clasp is much easier to attach on a dog collar vs other leashes we've had in the past. The o-ring on the top of the leash is good for when we want to take the dog off-leash and can sling the leash around our shoulder. We got the 4-ft leash, which is perfect for when my wife walks the dog as it prevents him from pulling. I'll probably buy the 6-ft leash too as I like to give our dog a little more slack when I walk him. Love that its waterproof! No more smelly leash after walks by the lake or when it rains!! Great product!

*Update* It took a while to reach the company, but when I did, they replaced the broken leash quickly. Changing my review to 5*.It was absolutely wonderful until it snapped when my golden retriever pulled when startled.It is waterproof, light, flexible. The lifetime warranty hasn't worked out so far however as the only phone number I could find for the company was disconnected and I've had no reply to my 2 emails about hoping for a replacement leash.

We really liked this leash and spent real money for it and the matching collar, too. The clasp broke. A good brand, with a lifetime warranty would have a contact number that works and respond to email. We have tried for months to get in touch with someone. I won't recommend buying products from companies that mislead their customers. The lifetime warranty is a lie.

Very secure clasp!!! Washable, easy to grip leash! The only thing "missing" is that it isn't reflective - otherwise, perfect! 5 stars!!!!!

Well made product but unfortunately not great use for walking your dog. Once you have sweat or rain, it’s near impossible to get a good grip on the leash
