I like to know that brands like Price Pfister still take care of customers who have a good and old bathroom faucet which is still working. So they have the right parts and it is possible to make a replacement of this part, instead of having to get another one.

installed per diagram in original faucet instructions. NOTE: cold water cartridge installed with no problems. Installed hot water cartridge and it leaked around barrel threads, so added1/4 turn beyond snug and stopped barrel leak only to develop stem leak. Removed and inspected, no visible failed parts. Reinstalled and still leaked. Another 1/4 turn beyond snug and internal failure if valve component. Salvaged parts from original cartridge and "O" rings and reinstalled with no leaks and no requirement to overtighten. Just bad luck I guess to get dry or damaged "O" rings in new cartridge.

The valve seems well made. It was easy to install and the faucet no longer drips.

I bought this valve TWICE to try to replace an leaky valve. The first valve broke because I overtightened and broke it trying to get it to be watertight. The second valve either have good flow with leaking, or a low-flowing dry connection. I finally gave in and found a Dacor valve at Home Depot that works perfectly. Skip this brand and get the Dacor.

These stems are an exact fit as advertised. The removal of the old and the installation of the new went smoothly for the most part. One word of caution however. When you place the new stem into the faucet make sure you have it exactly right the first time. The fit is such that if you must take it out to move it slightly so the faucet handles are properly positioned the stem can get pulled apart. Good luck trying to figure out how all those tiny parts go back together again! I couldn't so I had to order another.

Product quality is very poor...after installed and turn water on from main it started to leak even though it was properly installed...apon investigation everything seems ok including the o-rings & proceed to reinstall when it broke apart in a few pieces...I called the manufacturer and they will replace it free of charge...always better to use the original part and its life time warranty from most manufacturers...

Fits and works but is very stiff to turn. More than it should be.. None the less went in easy, doesn't drip etc.

This replacement part is not as good as the genuine manufacturers part. The cartridge broke immediately on installation I do not recommend this item.
