Barbie Mattel Collector Dolls of The World-Philippines Doll

Very pretty and great detail in this doll. I have purchased 2 of these for gifts. Both got Filipino girls and parents were beyond happy that Barbie had a country specific doll. A great collector doll I would say. Even the box was lovely. I hope they make more countries in the future.

It is very beautiful well made doll. Excellent representation for the country- Philippines. I am a doll collector and from the Philippine originally but I own a lot of dolls that is mostly representing Caucasian look so to me this is really specially. thanks to mattel.

Very authentic look. A great gift for any Filipino who cherishes their heritage. This one travelled with me to the Visayas in Philippines and now has a home there. A great gift--they are so proud of this Barbie over there!

I ordered this for my wife as a gift. She is from the Philippines an loves the doll. The detail is great. She has to be careful though because my young daughter (she is 4) is always wanting to play with it.

it arrived after 3 days my only problem is i bought this to add to my collection but the box has some icky stuff where the price tag was removed(recklessly i'd say and can't remove it all the way) and some creasing in the bottom and side pf the box. i would have thought its from shipping but the box it came from was pretty perfect. i shoulda bought from mattel online directly.

The wife copped a collectible Filipina Barbie. Darling 6 year old wants to play with it. Bought this one to keep the peace. Not as detailed as the collectible. Actually so generic you could call this just about any Latin country Barbie, since the features are not particularly Filipino. The clothing tries harder to meet the labelled nationality. I probably should rate this lower, but household peace is too valuable and worth the purchase price.

This doll is really beautiful, very nicely made and her gown is just lovely. The packaging is also really adorable - made to look like a little travel trunk! Unfortunately, the glue Mattel has used inside her head has leaked out through her "scalp" and made her hair a sticky, gooey mess. At first I thought maybe it was just the styling gel for her hairstyle, but after washing her hair multiple times, it has not come out. It remains sticky to the touch and really disgusting. Very disappointing.

My daughter loves this but the passport is not well thought off. Basically it is just a pice of paper.

Sehr schönes Kleid und mal ein ganz individuelles und besonderes Gesicht -wirklich was Besonderes. Hat der Beschenkten viel Freude bereitet. Gerne wieder.

Die Puppe und ihr Outfit ist ein wirkliches Sammlerstück. Allerdings sieht sie nicht aus wie eine Phlipina, sondern eher wie eine Gouvernante, eine Nanny im Dienst einer britischen Upperclass Familie Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts. Trotzdem ist sie bildschön und die Kleidung, insbesondere der Halsschmuck, sind haute couture. Gehört in die "Dolls of the World Vitrine".

Die Puppe an sich ist toll, habe aber eine mit unordentlich Haar bekommen und versuche es erneut mit einer Bestellung (der "Kundendienst" verweist nur lapidar auf Amazon). Für den nicht geringen Preis erwarte ich einwandfreie Ware.
