Beware Of Leopard 8” x 12” Vintage Aluminum Retro Metal Sign VS252

I put mine down above the door leading to the furnace room. All I need now is to install the file cabinet where I can lose important files in triplicate.

I got this to hang on my apartment's bathroom door; it's an obscure reference to a line in some book written a long time ago by an author who was called Douglas Adams (because that was his name.) I love showing off my nerdyness (nerdity? nerditude? Whatever...) when I inevitably have to explain it to almost everyone. This metal sign has a faux weathered appearance and clangs about a bit when the door is used. No leopards have been abused, but user cannot vouch for suitable exhibitions of leotards, yoga pants, or anything else stretched excessively, here or anywhere.

The only flaw here is the book says, …it was in a locked filing cabinet, in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of THE Leopard!’” Typed from memory so maybe not exact, but the point is that although this style sign probably would be worded this way, it really would have been nice for it to have include the word ‘the’ to match the book.Other than that LOVE IT! Quality is better than I had expected.

We are fans of the audio version of Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. During the first chapter this sign is mentioned, of course ours is hung on the bathroom door.
