Smaller rake, appropriate for a dog much smaller than an Aussie
Not going to diss the product for a mistake I made, but this particular product is too narrow to help with an Aussie much. I will be able to use it in some tight areas perhaps but the one I was shown by an expert groomer was twice this wide. If you have a smaller dog, this will be great for you. It's an exceptionally well made product and the groomer we consulted made a point of saying 'get the blunt one' because pups don't mind it.

It works!
This tool really works to get through the dense coat. It does require a sensitive touch at first until the dog gets used to it. You will know it’s done the job once it moves smoothly through. About 3 passes. I use it a couple of times a week to keep up and easy on my dog.

Works wonders
This works wonders on our Irish Wolfhound- he feels great after we brush him and it’s small enough to get his beard

Good for in-between groomings
Does a great job "hand stripping" our Cairn Terrier. Good for extending the interval between groomings. The only reason for 4 stars is that I think it's pretty over priced for what it is: a small piece wood connected to a small metal rake. Maybe it's so much because it's imported? Either way, I would consider looking at cheaper options that do the same thing.
