I purchased this because I have scalp and face psoriasis and read that this would help. It absolutely helped. I quickly noticed less flakes and after a few weeks of use I barely have flakes at all. BUT that's not all. I randomly decided to put it on and under my toe nails. After getting salon pedicures I found the nails on my big toes turned dark, obviously a fungus. I tried some big name brand fungus "cures" that claim clearing in days, but after months very little change was noticed. I used this Tamanu oil and saw changes the next day. I have been using it for maybe 5 days and I see so much change it is incredible. At this rate a few more days and my nails will be back to normal. This stuff is AWESOME. Well worth the money. AWESOME!

I bought this because I heard its good for eczema. I applied it on my patches daily for about a month so far. The first application stung on my largest patch but not after that. The patches shrunk so it definitely helped but the eczema is not gone completely. But at least its down to a tolerable level. Maybe it'll eventually be gone completely with continued use. I also tried it on my skin tags and acne, seems to help a little bit. It has the greenish hue which I hear is the better quality. I am sensitive to smells. It has an unusual smell but I did not find it bothersome. My only complaint is the dropper has a big hole so as soon as you remove the dropper. it starts dripping oil right away so you have to be careful not to get the oil all over the place. 4oz is not really a lot and provides better value than the 1 oz products, if you are using it on a daily basis.

I purchased this oil and it works really well. It has a sweet smell that I kind of enjoy (It sort of smells like Chinese fried rice & or Soy Sauce) :) . It's color is a dark green. It absorbs into the skin really really well. It's not as thick as other oils, but very potent and very smooth. When in dropper be very careful because it leaks from the dropper very easily without even squeezing the black rubber tip end. It is doing wonders for my psoriasis on my scalp because it is gone after using it. Also I have been applying it to eczema and it is going away also. I also like to mix it with other oils like Comfrey Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Caster Oil, Almond Oil, Oregano Oil, Peppermint Oil etc... IT works really well for my skin and my skin is clearing up because of it and the good thing is that it only takes like 2 to 5 little eye drop sized teeny drops, so this bottle is going to last for a long time and surely before I run out of it, I will order more because it really works wonders for my skin. I like to mix this oils with Carrier oils above like Grape Seed Oil, Almond Oil etc... I hope this helped!

I had really been looking forward to using this, as it's supposed to do wonders for your skin. Unfortunately, when I received the oil it smelled of old oil, but I decided to try it anyway because I never thought anyone would send old product, and after 2 times of using it and feeling unwell for awhile afterwards, both times, I decided it was too old and had gone rancid!! I had other people smell it to see what they thought, one person said they can't tell,, because since covid they lost most of their sense of smell, the other 2 agreed with it being bad, and one of those people uses Tamanu on a regular basis. They said that Tamanu naturally has a strong smell, but not stinky like it's rancid, and I should return it. I was disappointed, and things got busy in my world, and I neglected to handle this until today. So based on my experience, I have given it 1 star.

I'm trying it for scars. So far no luck yet... But these are old dark scars. But I felt like I needed to write the review Firsr, it's decent quality. Alot of people are marking it down for the scent, the darkness, and the thickness..... But that's how real stuff is suppose to be. Cheaper companies dilute or hot press it, then the colour lightens and makes it thinner. Good quality tamanu oil should be cold pressed and have these traits: 1. Thick (this product is) 2. dark green ( this product is dark green/black, it makes me think the nut is a veitnam export, just a lesser quality plant) 3. Strong nutty smell that should fade as it absorbs into the skin. (This product does) The product meets above average quality and should not be marked down for it

I had higher hopes for this. I have been using it for a little over 2 weeks. I was diligent with applying it to my scalp before bedtime. I even invested in silk caps to wear, to help contain the oil to my head. In the morning, I wash out with natural shampoo. During the day, I noticed relief. Less itching from my scalp and less flaking. However, not completely. Plus, I wanted to see what would happen if I skipped one night. Original symptoms were back. Terrible itching, flaking. This was not impressive. I had hoped the nutrients of the oil might, I don't know rejuvenate my scalp. Maybe restore some health to it. But it doesn't. Additionally, the oil seems very thick. So with that silly bulb applicator, you have to aim it into the bottle, otherwise you will mostly get air and not enough oil. Considering the bottle is dark and the oil is dark, it is difficult to see what is happening what you are trying to extract oil. I will finish this first bottle, but once it seems gone, I will not purchase another. The smell is not pleasing either. So, if you expect to be in public, near people, or have guests over, wash it out.

Amazing product. However do not use directly on skin but with a carrier oil or moisturiser and apply it last. Gives amazing hydration to your skin.
