L’Oréal's catchphrase..." because you're worth it!" implies that when you select one of their products you have done so because you are reaching for something special. I have tried L’Oréal products in the past; hair color; lipstick & skincare, but this was the first time I tried the nail color, and I just discovered a new product for my list of favorites. “Mauvelous” is simply a great neutral shade that can be worn with any color ensemble. Not only did it meet the hype of being an affordable luxury, but It was easy to apply. The brush was well designed so that it went on smoothly; the chemical compilation allowed for fast drying to decrease the chance for smudges - - I love; I love; I love! Hint: Select a great "Topcoat" to extend the wear for several days

I had a bottle of this stuff for years. I couldn't find another one so I kept trying to water it down with nail polish remover. I was so happy to find it again on Amazon.com! Ever used watery nail polish that looks nothing like what's in the bottle? This is the OPPOSITE of that. It comes out of the bottle thick and pigmented and glides on easily (and I, unfortunately have ridges in my nails from years of using cheap glue-on nails). When I use this stuff, the ridges are filled in and my nails are beautiful. Chips are minimal (it lasts for several days even though I'm typing all day long). The BEST thing (well, besides the color)? This stuff dries to a granite-hard finish. Wearing this stuff actually allows my nails to grow since they aren't weak or chipped (like they normally are). Plus, this is a gorgeous shade of medium pink. I haven't used other colors in this product line and I'm bummed that they most likely discontinued it since it's so hard to find, but I WILL be buying more while I can, and I HIGHLY recommend the "Wishful Pinking."

This is a wonderful coral-terra cotta color. It's saturated but not eye-poppingly bright. Dry time is fast and it has a muted satiny sheen to it. I gave five stars because the price is fab. However, we must discuss the dreaded chipping issues. Chipping is inevitable and varies depending on two things: body chemistry and activity level. Some of us are cursed with a body chemistry that will cause some or all polish to literally flake and slide off our nails. Some others of us (okay, me) are cursed with a perverse urge to go dig up tulip bulbs the minute we change out our polish. I'm happy to report that the new non-UV gel topcoats work on all nail polish. I just bought the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat and I'm several days into my first trial with it and my nails look as good as they did when I first painted them.

I have the "Jet Set to Paris" color. I tested this on several people. I'm no fan of blue, but this looks great on me! It goes on smooth and the color is actually about 2 shades darker than it looks. It works really well for the lighter skin tones than darker. I'm a light-skinned A-A and it looks great on me, but my mom, not so much. She's brown and it just looks dull on her. Actually very ugly. Normally earth tones go best with my skin tone and opposite for my mom...but this nail polish was different. With this nail polish, it does not matter what clothes you wear, if you have cool or warm undertones or even if you have a manicure or not. It's all about skin tone! Strange, but true. It never mattered as long as you were light-skinned or white. I think if it was a lighter shade, it would've looked great on my mom. So that's just a head-up to you girls out there. Skin tone, skin tone, skin tone!

I purchased this nail polish because it is no longer available in stores. The color of the nail polish looked fine from the outside of the bottle. When I shook it a little and could see bubbles in the bottle, which is not common with nail polish. Then I opened it. The consistency was definitely not that of any nail polish I've ever used or seen. It was runny and watery and poured right out of the bottle! I would guess it was half polish and half water. Very disappointed that it was sold this way - a total waste of money! I would rate this a big ZERO!

I have been loving nail polish these past couple of months and I came across this color. I had nothing like it before and I have to say this is such a beautiful color. I wasn't sure how this would look on, but it is so flattering I think it would look amazing on anyone's skin tone. It is perfect for the spring/summer (although I'll wear it year-round because it is so gorgeous). I also think the formula is really nice and opaque, although I always do 2 coats anyway. It has an average drying time and wears VERY well. I have had no problems with chipping or anything. I do wish the brush was a little bigger to make application a bit easier and faster, but with 2 coats there is no streakiness or imperfections. I cannot recommend this color enough. I would definitely consider buying other colors from this line and I am really pleased with this purchase.

Been buying it for years my favorite color

The color itself is a bit sheer. I have to build a few layers before you can really see the color. The polish goes on smoothly, dries fast, and is long-wearing. I included a few pictures on my natural nails to give some ideas. I would recommend using this over a base coat, then with a matte top coat, especially if you're looking for that nude nail that's popular right now (It would look absolutely adorable on falsies). Very classy, can be dressed up or down, works with every outfit. Not too bright and "girly", just a nice, natural shade of pale pink.
