I cannot recommend enough! This is an excellent kit!
I read the reviews prior to purchasing. All of the low star reviews seem to have one thing in common. These people have no clue about tearing something apart, cleaning it properly, and putting it back together. In the case of speakers, this was my first time. My Paradigm subwoofer had rotten surround on a paper cone. 91% isopropyl and a old rag was able to clean everything and prepare for the installation. The instructions that are provided, detail everything needed to do the task. The amount of glue is more than enough to do the job, but understand that this glue is like rubber cement and melted marshmallows all in one! It will stick to anything and not come off. If applied with precision and patience, the surround will align perfectly and your driver will be back in business. If you attempt this and make a mess with everything, don't blame this product.

Even a noob can do this!!
I ordered the foam repair kit on Monday night and received it on Friday with free USPS shipping. Their tracking system leaves a lot to be desired, USPS that is, but I considered that pretty quick shipping considering it was free. I watched their video that was linked in their website, which shows a repair on a Cerwin Vega driver but the procedure was exactly the same, and was able to get the entire procedure done in about fours hours. Of course that includes waiting an hour after glueing the surround to the cone, to the basket, and then the gasket to the top of the foam surround. I was a little worried about getting the cone centered in the voice coil and could actually hear a small amount of "scrapage" when gently pressing the cone down into the voice coil, but once I had the foam glued to just the cone, it wasn't making this noise anymore. I had done some research on how much it would cost to replace the driver and I a believe I found one that was $185, so $19 was a lot less and if I would've messed up, not that much $ wasted but I didn't mess up. My subwoofer sounds fantastic again. I have lows in my music and movies that I had been missing for years. I stopped using my PDR-10 about 2 years ago thinking I would have to spend a lot of moolah to have it working again, but here I am <1 week and $20 dollars later with a speaker that sounds just as good as I remember it sounding before the surround rotted into a billion (or so) pieces. Thanks Simplyspeakers for a great product at a great price. By the way, I had watched some other repair videos that showed just using Elmers glue to glue the surround, but the glue that came with the kit tacked up quickly, but not so quickly that I couldn't make some minor adjustments to get the surround attached at the same location as the original surround.

Restored my Paradigm PDR-10 to like-new condition..
Exceeded my expectations. As with most things in life, preparation is key to success. In this case that means carefully removing the old surround residue from the speaker before applying the glue and attaching the replacement surround. Not difficult but it's tedious and requires patience. Walk away and come back later if you find yourself becoming impatient. As other reviewers point out, take your time, read the instructions and watch an instructional video from Simply Speakers. Once the adhesive is applied, that's the point of no return. You'll have to work to completion or risk having to rework the entire job. Once you start working, the 'slow is smooth and smooth is fast' adage applies.I wouldn't try this if you're dosed with caffeine. You'll need steady hands, especially when attaching the surround to the speaker. Centering the surround when lowering it onto the adhesive will benefit by doing a few dry runs beforehand. I'd suggest at least three dry runs lowering the surround onto the speaker. This will build 'muscle memory'.The included adhesive turned out to be excellent and far more than I needed for this project. Probably enough to do three or four similar jobs.Note that with the Paradigm PDR-8, 10 and 12, the speaker is removed from the back after you remove the amp. The front speaker box baffle is permanently attached. While you have the amp removed, it wouldn't hurt to use Deoxit to clean the interior side of the amp, knobs and and connections.

Requires skills or blind faith
After watching all of the instructional videos I could find, I decided to give it a try. The replacement driver for my Paradigm PDR-10 v3 was no longer available. So I ordered this kit and followed all instructions.Long story short; after installation the voice coil was scraping badly.I wanted to try it again but did not need the entire kit. Only the foam surround itself. So I ordered (from another vendor) a set of two foam surrounds for my 10 inch driver. Tried it again only this time I carefully cut out the dust cap to gain access to the voice coil. Installed some shims and then glued on the foam surround. Glued the same dust cap back on the cone. Excellent results. Sounds good as new. This is a great kit but for those of us who occasionally make mistakes, it would have been nice if they included two foam surrounds, Just in case. The glue included with the kit is excellent and there is enough to do three or four speakers. Shims are not included with this kit but can easily be made with stuff around your house. I used the clear blister part of the packaging from some Hot Wheels. Flat and thin.I would buy this kit again. Hopefully some can learn from my trial and error.Somewhat unrelated but I had to order this kit twice. The first one arrived perfectly on time and my mailman decided to leave it leaning against my front door because it wouldn't fit in my mailbox. An hour after it was delivered a dog decided to snatch it from my porch. Never to be seen again. True story. My security camera captured it all.

Easy to Use
Great product and easy to use if you follow the instructions in the video. I repaired an $800.00 Theater sub for only a fraction of the cost of replacing. 30 days of use and still holding well. Will use again.
