I was a hair gel guy for a long time, but when clays and pomades became more popular and available, I made the switch. Being a fan of “O brother where art thou”, I just did a search one day for Dapper Dan expecting it to be just an Hollywood made up thin (which it probably was before this was made) and found that this existed. I bought some thinking it would be no different than what I would get at Walmart, but I was wrong. Even though it’s expensive by comparison to locally available options, it’s far better. I love this stuff. It holds well, is reasonably restyle-able if my hair does get messed up and washes out without any effort. I really am a a Dapper Dan man.

The best hair styling product I've ever used hands DOWN. Dapper Dan Heavy Hold Pomade smells like a honey vanilla candle. It holds like a dream with just a small amount, even through workouts. It makes hair shine, but it doesn't have that glued hair feeling. It washes out easily in the shower. If you're worried about the price, get the discount by buying 2 and sell or gift the other one to friends or family (or just save it). Honestly wish I could give this product 10 stars.

The pomade had a great consistency to it and the hold was definitely strong. Compared to other medium and high holds this definitely is one of the stronger ones that I have used. As for the smell, it can be somewhat strong and lasts a long time so depending on what you like this can be a plus or a minus. I do like the smell nut at times it can be overbearing.

best stuff ever. I work as a delivery driver for fedex and I sweat like no tomorrow and this stuff held my hair perfect from 6 a.m. till 4 pm . and the scent is awesome to. not to overpowering like other things. definitely found my new hair product. also it washes out so easily

I like this product. it is a sweet scent. The scent is not too strong. The best part I like about the product is being able to redo your hair if it comes undone. Washes out well too. Doesn't feel too greasy or hard.

I have tried many different styling products and by far one of the original and greatest in my opinion, products comes quickly and have ordered several times and will continue to do so.

These are still usable. It maybe my OCD, but I hate it when it looks like Amazon through my stuff around. One of the tins is hard to close because of a dent. I also don't like the fact that the palmade is cracked. Other then the delivery this stuff is great. I would highly recommend because one tin last me a while.

Washes out of hair easier then most other pomades I have used. Smells great and isn’t too expensive.
