I have been consistently looking for trimmer line for my black and decker auto feed gh3000 I think is the model). The auto feed head on this model is extremely sensitive to which line you can use. The line that comes with it doesn't even work as expected but does work. The main problem is that the line gets tangled way too often. I mean like every 5 minutes. Take it apart and fix. I have tried over 10 different brands and this one has come the closest to being the perfect trimmer line. It has solved the main issue of not getting tangled and melted inside the head, but it isn't the strongest line I have tried. I do go through it pretty quickly but considering the price and the fact it works so well i am stopping the search for now. This will be my go to lone for my black and decker gh3000 corded weed trimmer. I am happy with this purchase.

Tough, long wearing, much more economical than pre-loaded trimmer spools if one has the patience and dexterity to self wind onto old spools! Pulverizes weeds & grass into mush!!

I do a lot of trimming around our property and this Oregon Gator trimmer line works great. I can't say there isn't something better out there but I haven't found it yet.

I have been through 2 or 3 rolls of this. It works good for my needs, no complaints. I wish it was a bit more sturdy, but like I said, it works fine.

The string works as it should, not much to be said there. But the packaging is not good. Very flimsy, and you cannot just pull the string out, you have to remove the entire roll.

This line is amazing. I run a solo lawn care business & I watch youtube guys all the time to try to find the most reliable low cost line and thus far this is it for me. I've tried Black Diamond Vortex .095" line and this stuff is way more durable than that. It eats up when you're edging with it a little bit but only if you have to "dig" with it in the crack. If you're just doing a maintenance run this stuff is unbeatable. The lighter weight not only allows you to load about 25-30' into the standard speed feed head, but also runs at a higher RPM so it has more speed when it hits the grass/weeds and works much more effectively. Some say it is quieter as well, but I tend to disagree with that. Either way i've got on hearing protection and noise is not an issue for me. The last point is it's super affordable for its durability which is the main reason I chose it. I'm sure there is better line out there but this stuff is great & cheap, and it' makes my business more efficient not having to load as much line due to the extra you can fit in the head, and it's longer lasting durability.

I finally needed to replace my Dewalt line and came across this one. It works well on my 18V trimmer so far and I’ve been quite impressed with its strength. It’s at least as strong as the Dewalt one. I was worried that it might turn out to be one of those lines that keep breaking but that definitely hasn’t been my experience. I’m using it on everything from sections of short lawn through to stalky weeds along mesh fence lines.
